The Battery Tender Junior 12-volt/75-amp battery charger is the small and simple solution to the challenge of keeping vehicle batteries optimally powered when not in use. The Battery Tender Junior 12-volt charger is much more than a trickle charger. It has a "brain". Utilizing a 4-step charging program (initialization, bulk charge, absorption mode and float mode), it allows you to simply connect the charger to a battery, either in or out of a vehicle, and forget about it until you are ready to put the battery to work. Like all Battery Tender chargers, at the end of the regular charger cycle it automatically switches its output voltage to a safe, storage or float level that eliminates the need to worry about the damaging effects of overcharging, and the resulting need to check on the condition of the battery. If/when the battery voltage drops too far under load, output power resumes and the charging cycle begins again. The unit also features sparkproof connectors, short circuit and reverse polarity protection, an easy to understand charging status indicator consisting of a single LED, and almost no current draw from batteries connected to it. This item is amazing !!!!...Purchased for my 85 Toyota pickup that needs a new alternator..The batter which is 4 years old was down to 3 volts when I connected the battery tender...It took 2 days, but the battery got back to a full 12 volts and easily starts the truck again..I did not think a item so small and so cheap could do the job, but this one did.....I have seen other chargers at much higher prices and even the ones at Wally World are more expensive then this one...This item can now fully charge my battery in about 2 hours when I just drive the truck around the block to keep it in shape until I replace that alternator....This Battery Tender is a wonderfull product and you cannot beat the price at Amazon....Very highly recommended......

This was a great price on a battery tender that is very popular with motorcycle owners. Installation of the leads to the battery terminals was quick and simple. The immediate reward I have is that the bike fires up with one quick hit of the starter. This will also pay for itself very quickly by extending the life of the battery.
