We had just moved to a new area and my husband got my iphone charger wet and it was ruined. Since we were broke (from the move) I needed a quick, cheap fix. This product definitely fit the bill. It was very inexpensive but I have had no troubles with it. It charges my iphone just fine both at home and in the car. The only drawback is that the plastic feels a little thin and could break easily so I'm not sure about its life use in the long run.
