We just replaced our old Bunn 10 cup brewer with this new model. I was bit perturbed that we had to replace our old one because it was "only" 7 years old, until I read the reviews here about folks replacing other brands in < 1 year! I guess we got our money's worth on the last one, which further convinced me to go with another one. It showed up yesterday and this time I actually read the instructions when setting it up. Lo and behold, I learned that you should perform cleaning/maintenance (including de-liming) on it every 3 months! Maybe our last one would have lasted longer if we'd done more than just wash the pot and filter basket and run a few extra pots of fresh water thru it every once in awhile. Live and learn...
I like the styling of this one even better than the last. I like the side-swivel water cover (instead of the flip-up cover on the old one). I did like that i could swivel the filter basket and move the handle to either side on the old model, while on this one the handle sticks right out front and cannot be moved (a nit pick,really).
This unit doesn't take up as much counter space as the old one. It is nice that we now have 2 pots, as they did not see the need to re-style/size the pots every year to make them incompatible.
Final bonus, for us, is that this one was about half the price we paid for the old one, 7 years ago!

My husband bought me a Bunn for Christmas 11 years ago. We used is everyday (and not just one or two pots)! My baby finally died a couple of months ago and we decided to buy an inexpensive coffemaker to replace it. (This was when I realized how spoiled I had been all these years.) It took 20 minutes to make one pot of coffee. I thought I was back in the stone ages!! After a few months of that, I began looking for a new Bunn online and found this one on Amazon.com. We received the coffee pot about a week ago and oh, what a week it has been! When it says in less than 3 minutes, it means it. I could have a cup of coffee before I was even awake. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH A BUNN!!!

This coffee pot makes great coffee really fast. HOWEVER, be aware that it does not have any extras - such as delayed brew. I love the coffee but I would have ordered another pot if I had been paying attention to anything but the brand, price and reviews - and that is totally my fault so five stars for the coffee pot.

I love my new coffee maker! After going through a few lesser quality makers, I decided to buy this one because of a recommendation from my mother in law. It makes great coffee very quickly. I don't like that it's on all of the time, kind of a waste of energy, but I do use it every day and I like how fast it makes a pot of coffee in the morning!

I bought this coffee maker thinking it would be comparable to the superior taste of coffee made in the commercial BUNN coffee makers at fine restaurants. However, the coffee from the home version does not stack up. It comes out very weak when using my usual amount of coffee. I had to double the amount of coffee to make a decent cup of coffee and it still lacked the rich taste of restaurant coffee.
Very disappointing!
