Despite what Amazon claims, this tray is NOT a flip-top, It is so poorly constructed that the leg-stop board's nails pulled out on one side after about a month of light use. Sheesh ...!

This table is perfect for breakfast in bed or doing computer work, etc. while sitting in a bed, couch or chair. It's well made and folds up easily if you want to put it away.

Seems to be a decent tray, I like it better than the one with the handles on top. The notches don't get in the way of elbows and computers.
