| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Janos Starker dazzles with a wide array of works by various composers, including the Bach 'Arioso,' Schumann's 'Traumerei (Dreaming),' Debussy's 'Girl With The Flaxen Hair,' the Handel-Weiner 'Sicilienne,' and many more.
The New York Times has declared that with his peerless technical mastery and intensely expressive playing, Janos Starker is universally recognized as one of the world s supreme musicians. In a career spanning more than 70 years, Mr. Starker is one of the most famous cellists of the 20th century.

| Customer Reviews: You can't go wrong with Janos Starker November 24, 2009 M. Tuchman (Montgomery County, PA) This is a good collection that spans a wide variety of styles and eras. Many contain pieces most cellists should know, but I hadn't yet heard. Musically, I have no complaint, but the packaging looks like it was put together in a hurry. The back of mine said "Guitar Essentials". No worries, I won't be listening to the packaging.
A good value.
