The DVD "For a Quiet Evening" contains a nice selection of classical guitar pieces that provide a restful background for a quiet evening, as advertised. Highlights of the selections, for this reviewer, include Maurice Ravel's "Pavane for a Dead Princess" and Gabriel Faure's "Sicilienne" and "After a Dream." Artists include Steve Erquiaga, Goran Sollscher, Eduardo Fernandez, and Pepe Romero, among others. The DVD has a running time of just over 67 minutes. The recording quality is adequate to good.
"For a Quiet Evening" is highly recommended to fans of classical guitar looking for a little background music.
