not bad November 26, 2009 A. Guzman (ontario, Ca usa) im more of a "reminder" beat lover type of guy, also that main stream raped song with rihanna and kanye. could he have anymore features on this album? geez.....is this really his album or a compilation of artist's ala DJ khaled albums? he obviously left his roots of back in the days jay z in the past, since he no longer associates with his former rocka fella crew.....people want to praise him for growing up? if leaving your former friends behind means growing up, let me just stay a toy r us kid then, I can understand that if you are successful and you obtain his wealth, things will change, but none of those roc a fella dudes were real life gangsters who you would want to stay away from. Instead jay just goes all out and turns into steve urkel on us, yea really grown up.....just comment on the musical content and not say anything about him "growing up" wtf, how old is he 40? and ur praising him for finally growing up? get outta here with that garbage. im not going to bash on his lyrical talent, because i do recognize real, let the battle begin though, 50 vs jay .

I have not taken this CD out of my player since I received it October 19! One of Jay-Z's best!

Wow, I don't expect much from Hip Hop these days, but this is one of Jay Z's best albums in a long time.
Jay Looking A Little Shaky November 23, 2009 MAX JULIEN M.B. (LAS VEGAS, NEVADA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
OK, Let's have a honest opinion about Blueprint 3 and get off jay's dic for one minute. Overall it is a average album. There are no weak jay albums to date. But, there is alot of duds on Blueprint 3 due to lack lustered production and tired lyrics. Some of the songs make you wanna skip to the next track. "So Ambitious" pharrell beats seem to be recycled and outdated. "Thank You" sounds a little bit tiring and weak. "On To The Next One" after a while the hook drives you insane Swizz Beatz production is garbage the track suffers due to it. "Off That" & , "A Star Is Born" are a little weak for a typical jay-z album. I like jay and have all of his previous albums. But, Blueprint 3 has to be worst jay album 2 date. Even Michael Jordan had 2 edvantually hang'em up and retire.
THE GREATEST!! November 21, 2009 JerseyGirl609 (Trenton, NJ) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have liked hip hop since Kid and Play and Kwame. However, the Notorious BIG, Jay Z and Nas made me LOVE rap! Next to BIG Jay Z is the GREATEST, period! How can anyone dispute the numbers?? NUMBERS DON'T LIE!!!! Ok, back to the Blue Print: 3 another classic! Anyone that is hating on this album need to listen to it again. I think they are expecting JayZ circa 2000. He is a grown ass man now that is worth $400 million and married to THE HOTTEST chic in the game Beyonce who is worth just as much as he. Of course he is not rapping about the same things he talked about in Reasonable Doubt. That's just stupid! If you don't respect JayZ for nothing else you have to respect his empire. Respect his hustle! He has open so many doors for rappers! He made himself a BUSINESS! From the Marcy Projects to this! In the words of JayZ, "Men Lie, Women Lie, NUMBERS Don't!"
Oh, Blue Print:3 tour starting end of this year. If you haven't seen JayZ in concert please do!!! You will see what makes him a good artist! UNBELIEVABLE!
