Product Description Tim McGraw has sold over 40 million units and dominated the charts with 30 #1 singles. He's won three Grammys, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards, three People's Choice Awards and numerous others. The first single from Southern Voice, 'It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You', is an up-tempo, tongue-in-cheek tale about the price paid for loving a woman who loves designer labels, penned by Nickelback's Chad Kroeger and singer-songwriter Brett James.
Album Description 2009 release, the Country superstar's first studio album in two-and-a-half years. The album features the lead single, 'It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You' along with the title track, 'Southern Voice'. Recorded in Nashville with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Sugarland, Phil Vassar), Southern Voice is the follow-up to Let It Go, which debuted at #1 on The Billboard 200 in April of 2007.

Glad I Bought This!!! November 24, 2009 Roxanne Adams (los angeles) Wow!!! I wasn't expecting to get knocked over by such deep and emotional music when I bought this MP3 album Amazon. Even if you're not a regular listener of country music, there's much to recommend from this CD.
'Still' is introspective.
'I Didn't Know It At The Time' is a song about how fast the time in life can pass us by, and we don't even know, until it's too late.
'If I Died Today' wasn't as moving as you'd expect from the title, but it's still a good song.
'Mr. Whoever You Are' is an absolutely gorgeous and disturbing song.
'You Had To Be There' is the most emotional song in this collection. A father and son are reunited, after it's too late.
I completely didn't understand the meaning in the song 'I'm Only Jesus.'
'Forever Seventeen' is exactly what you'd expect from the title, another introspective song with beautiful lyrics.
I highly recommend buying this CD or MP3 download.
fabulous cd November 19, 2009 Jeffrey A. Johnson gave the cd to girlfriend for a birthday gift, she loves it,plays it all the time.I would recommend this cd to any country music fan.
Not worth much more than the 5$ download November 10, 2009 PlusOne (Houston, TX United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Songs kind of blah together, I like maybe 1 or 2 songs. Def not worth more than $5.
Nothing exciting vocally or in the lyrics.
This CD is a must for all Country Music Fans!! November 10, 2009 Kenny Martone (Baldwin, New York United States) This CD is a must for all country music fans. It is extremely rare that I buy a CD and like every single track. This CD debuted at #'s 1 & 2 on the Country Album Charts & The General Billboard 200 Album list respectively. Although I like all 12 tracks on this CD, 3 songs in particular stand out as my favorites. My ultimate favorite track on this CD is Track # 12 titled: " Love You Goodbye". I am however a little perplexed at the fact that Tim's producers are not planning to release it as a single. That's too bad as I feel that track is the strongest and most commercial on the entire CD. I also like " Ghost Town Train " & " Good Girls", which are Tracks 2 & 3 respectively. His current single "Southern Voice" Track # 8 is currently up 2 spots to # 14 this week on the country single charts. The only other thing I was a little surprised with was the fact there was no duet between Tim & his wife Faith Hill, as I feel when they sing together they produce an awesome record. In closing this CD is a must for all country fans, so I feel you would get your moneys worth like my late grandmother used to say!!
SOUTHERN VOICE - TIM MCGRAW November 9, 2009 Geraldine Care Tim's latest album is fantastic. Sounds better than never. Have been playing it all week. I'm sure whoever buys this album will not be disappointed.
