gift November 27, 2009 Wendy R. Eshe This was a gift...I am told it is very good.
I am not a fan though.
I Enjoyed It November 27, 2009 Quintin S. Wilkinson Nothing really new in the CD except for the song "This is it" and the four demo selections (one is a poem) but I still enjoyed the music. The songs "Jam" and "They don't really care about us" are songs that you usually don't get when you buy MJ music collections but what can I say Mike is Mike and the songs are still good to hear. Also, after watching the movie, the songs are pretty much in the order they appeared in the movie. I guess that is what the CD is all about, a preview of the songs he was going to sing in the concert.
The pictures that went along with the CD are nothing to write home about but it is still his last photos performing so just for that reason alone they are classics.
MJ and TII November 27, 2009 Gillda Popescu (Bucharest, ROU) I'm glad I bought it, it is smth each MJ fan has to have in his hands.
The booklet is simply amazing. ;)
Where are the Really Rare Songs? November 26, 2009 H. A Huffman (Mt. Prospect, IL USA) I thought the really hard to find / unreleased songs would be on this CD. Yes, they remastered the old familiar tunes, but I heard all of those before.
I was looking for these songs:
"Hey Kid, Come Back"
"Jesus Juice, Bubbles and You"
"Don't Call Me Freaky Unless You've Slept In My Coffin"
"Daddy - Round 2"
"Come To Wonderland and Bring Your Kids"
"On Second Thought, Just Send The Kids"
"Inject Me, Doctor, I Need A Nap"
"Bubbles Forever"
"You're too Old For Me Macaulay"
"Child From A Test Tube"
"Twilight Zone In My Bed"
"Money For Daddy"
"Doctor, You're In Trouble Now"
and...
"Get Up, Money Maker, Get Up"
Too bad, I really wanted to hear those songs once again.
Rip off - Should've saved my $$ November 25, 2009 Ms. Vee (Belleville, IL) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I received my cd a few weeks ago. I was extremely excited, but soon disappointed-not worth the money. While I luv MJ's music, this 2-cd set is a rip off,(shame on SONY). If you already have MJ's Number One's CD, you don't need this unless you are only purchasing it for the song "This is it", which is on the cd in two versions, but sound the same. All the cut's are on the Number One's CD, except THIS IS IT, and the 3 bonus cuts on the 2nd CD.The bonus tracks are not the best-I don't even listen to that CD. Save your money, unless you just have to have "This is it". Sorry for the bad, but honest review.
