A great CD November 28, 2009 Chen (Hawaii, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the first time I wrote a review for any product. I just hope people don't be misled by the AMA performance and other unfair comments from the media or the 1-star reviews here. This CD is great. There are already many 5-star reviews you can find here and there's not much I can say without repeating what has been said. I just CANNOT stop listening to the CD. Every song all has its merits. I love the slower songs: "Time for Miracle" and "Broken Open" but other faster ones are making me dance around the living room. The beats are haunting. What a great range of beautiful vocals! And I keep imagining how Adam will perform these songs. (The three songs on this CD I have seen him perform on TV are so great already). I would really love to go to his concert.
Best CD out this year!!! November 28, 2009 Lisa (Ohio) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I haven't stopped listening to this cd since I've gotten it! Awesome! After work, can't wait to get into my car and crank "Fever"! Love all the songs. Best money i've spent in a long time. I'm 44 and my kids cannot believe that I am dancing around the house, but this music makes me want to move. His vocals are impeccable. Wide rage of song types. Definitely worth your time and money. Something for everyone. I just can't get these songs out of my head. Adam definitely entertains!
Hmmm...Cake never tasted so great! November 28, 2009 L. Crater (Hershey, PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This album is like a piece of delicious cake with several remarkable layers. One layer is seard with sugar-sweet ballads where his voice simply shines and soars. Then there is another layer with wonderful dance grooves. This is the layer that Adam "layers" on his sweet falsetto and great range and makes the listener want to get up and groove on the dance floor. Then there is the icing on the cake which is the album as a whole. It has many layers, but the icing is the great combination of Adam's amazing vocals, talent, and the ability to utilize his voice whatever the genre of the song. This cake that Adam Lambert has made is worth not only eating but devouring over and over again. You will never fill up on this one!! Adam Lambert is definitely and artist who will be sucessful and there will be no rest for the weary music world...Get ready for Adam everyone. He has arrived and music will probably never be the same!! Thank you Adam for giving us great music and cake that never tasted so good!!
Great album November 28, 2009 Stacy Yam (Jersey City, NJ United States) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's an album that people waited for eight months, and it does not disappoint. I especially love the slow songs on the album, they showcased his lovely voice.
Great CD! November 28, 2009 C. Sanchez (Gilroy, CA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
There is not one song on this CD that is bad. If you like Adam Lambert this is a must have. If you've never heard of Adam Lambert, but like dance music, this is a must have. The more you listen, the more the songs will grow on you.
