It's a simple toy that has made my cats move in ways they move for nothing else. The only down side is that they love the toy until it's no longer functional, and thus, I have been through many of Da Birds. I am grateful to have come across a toy my cats love so much that I can nearly declare is an addiction. Although I have seen many cats go wild over this toy, there are the select few (usually the more mature cats) who seem to see it as a device to watch but not touch.
If the cats break da feathers from da string, they may still enjoy chasing da string or even just da pole... it's quite the versatile toy.

My cat just turned 10, and for her bday I bought her one of these. She's been having some health problems and not really all that active lately, but when this came out? Wow, she became a kitten again!! This toy is amazing!

This is a must have cat toy.
It is far superior to similar "fishing pole" type cat toys. The feathered tip is specifically made and mounted to spin, thus mimicking the motions of a bird. Even old, lazy cats will perk up and respond to this toy. Young cats will leap and jump to grab it.
You will have to store it away from your cat so she does not destroy the feathers.
