Product Description
Itâs summer vacation, the weatherâs great, and all the kids are having fun outside. So whereâs Greg Heffley? Inside his house, playing video games with the shades drawn. Greg, a self-confessed âindoor person,â is living out his ultimate summer fantasy: no responsibilities and no rules. But Gregâs mom has a different vision for an ideal summer . . . one packed with outdoor activities and âfamily togetherness.â Whose vision will win out? Or will a new addition to the Heffley family change everything?

Dog Days wonder November 26, 2009 S. Dosaj I'm a children's librarian and have scores of kids asking for this and other Wimpy Kid books. Reluctant readers no more. I've even received positive reviews from some adults.
These books are so fun November 26, 2009 Lindsey Miller (Brooklyn, NY) These graphic novels by Kinney are so much fun to read. They're quick and easy, but help to remind us all about the perils of middle school and growing up. They put "picture books" in an entirely different kind of category, walking the line between the often dark and ornate worlds of the comic books or graphic novels, and the simplistic messages conveyed by illustrated books for children. It feels very much like you're reading the journal/diary of a tween.

Student Review from Ms. Gehrke's Class November 23, 2009 You will love this book if you are funny and if you like to read about somebody's embarrassing middle school life. Journey with Greg on his summer vacation and through the funniest moments in all of his life. My favorite part of this book is when they forget their mom at the gas station and when they finally realized their mom wasn't there, it was already 11:00.
Will Greg keep his friendship with Rowley, and will get the Twisted Wizard? You have to read the book to find out. I hope you like this book.

This book is as good, if not a bit better, than the first one of the series. The author has got his groove back. Fantastic fun!

I like this book because it is funny and it's like comics. It is about this boy who doesn't want to go outside and his mom wants him to .
