1 out of 5 stars Incomplete description - needs electricity!!!   November 23, 2009
Lorelei Shark (Los Angeles, CA USA)

I purchased this bed to put in my tent when I go camping. It's actually listed under inflatable camping beds. I searched and searched and all it said about inflating was "Fully recessed pump both inflates and deflates the bed in less than 60 seconds". 180 reviews, averaging close to 5 stars, and not one talked about needing to plug it in. I looked at pictures - I looked at other websites - pictures showed a cord with a remote on it - for firmness of the mattress. I determined that the pump must have had it's own, perhaps battery operated, built-in power because nothing was mentioned about needing to plug it in. So... I just opened the box and pulled out the instructions - there it was - "Remove AC Plug cord ...plug into any polarized 110 Volt AC electrical outlet. Hmmm - is it possible for a description to state the need for electricity??? Especially since it's touted as a "camping" bed. I'd like to know how Amazon categorizes "camping" beds. It also says "Bed must be at room temperature prior to inflating or it may cause leaks". How many people camp out in a room???

5 out of 5 stars Great mattress!   November 21, 2009
Stacey (Nashville, TN)
Comfortable and works perfectly for guests/trips. I let it air out for a day or two before using it because it smelled strongly of plastic/rubber when first opened. Note: the mattress I received is not the one pictured on Amazon. It is actually a more updated version (seen elsewhere for a higher price) -- the pump unit has a flat, light-colored panel that is fully embedded in one end of the mattress. Also, the removable cover is a very soft blue fleece.

5 out of 5 stars Pleased shopper   November 19, 2009

The aerobeds worked great for weekend guest overflow. Aerobed lived up to its good reputation.

5 out of 5 stars EXCELENT PURCHASE   November 14, 2009
L DE A (USA)
MY HUSBAND USED IT FOR 15 DAYS AT OUR DAUGHTERS HOME. HE ADJUSTED IT BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP TO HIS OWN COMFORT. EVEN THOUGH HE IS A LARGE PERSON AND WEIGHS OVER 200 LB, THE AEROBED DID NOT LOSE AIR DURING THE NIGHT. THE TWIN SIZE WAS PERFECT BECAUSE IT IS BIG ENOUGH WITHOUT TAKING MUCH SPACE IN THE ROOM.

4 out of 5 stars A great product!   November 13, 2009

I loved this air-bed. It does not have the usual unwieldiness that many such products typically have. It is comfortable to sleep on, especially if you put another sheet on top. The built-in inflate/deflate switch is very convenient.
