Pleased with stand - Shipping a problem September 17, 2009 T-Bone (Portland, OR) I love the stand. The instructions were easy to follow and I had this together in about an hour while watching TV. I like the fact that the stand can be used with or without wheels for mobility. Very well made and no complaints here!

Good Product! July 18, 2009 Mike T. Charboneau (San Diego) I just assembled it took about one hour and you need a small crescent wrench. The bolts require some serious tightening but is very sturdy and rolls easily with the 10/90. I worked up a sweat doing this but instructions are very good. I am happy with the purchase. Ladies you might need help with this.
Better than on the floor but not excellent. July 15, 2009 Curtis Mason (ID United States) Everyone else has expounded the benefits of this item with the one con being the instructions. Certainly I scratched my head especially with the straps. (BTW you have to unsnap the longer strap and loop the side without the snap through and then use the snap to secure it to the stand.)
I would like to point out a few more cons.
1. The packaging and paint job from the manufacturer are terrible. Mine arrived with multiple paint dings and a destroyed bowflex sticker. The bubble wrap provided only minimal protection given the shipping weight. The box easily torn by the UPS guys and I was surprised everything was still there when I opened it.
2. It also has multiple cosmetic paint abnormalities such as bubbling and runs. The paint is also different shades than the benches and the weights. Come on, how hard is it to paint the bench and stand the same color!
3. The stand tilts the weights forward making it harder to replace the handlebar on the stand if you have a weight that is sandwiched between others. This happens because the weights lean. I have the 1090 set.
4. It is too low and narrow. I am only 5'7" and I have to bend down to get the weights. Also because of how close they are it is more difficult to assume a correct posture. Still it is a lot better than having them on the floor.
In all I was expecting more than I got but, being a physical therapist, I think you would be a fool to not have something to set these 90# beasts on.
Very nice quality July 9, 2009 E. Kim (Arlington, VA USA) A true must-have for the bowflex selecttech weights - saves your back, lets you roll them away into storage, and is especially useful when you want to change weights quickly! Instructions were really very simple, but getting the screws tightened required some sweat.
Great piece and a great price June 24, 2009 M. McClain I am not sure what happened to the instruction for many peoiple below, but our rack arrived within 2 days (I love Amazon Prime) and I built it last night in less than 30 minutes.
Instructions were idiot simple (which is good for me!) very clear, and all items were neatly packaged and labled (Right and Left).
I used a 9/16 ratchet and the supplied allen wrnech and had everything buttoned up very quickly and easily.
I have to be honest, I continue to be blown away by the quality and construction of Bowflex equipment. We now have a paid of dumbells, and a Selectech Bench and I have been amazed at how solid and good looking everything is.
I am a reasonably serious weekend warrior, and at 275 pounds, I am not gentle on anything (treadmill, eliptical, benches). I am CERTAIN the Bowflex items we have added in the past few months will last a lifetime.
