About Reebok
Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.

2 out of 5 stars it was ok   September 28, 2009

it worked great up untill the point where the top row of digits are no longer visable

3 out of 5 stars Pretty and useful   August 25, 2009
Seyhan Civanlar (San Francisco)

I have been using the version of this watch made for women. It measures my heart rate accurately. I checked it against the heart rate my treadmill reports. It is pretty close. An important caution: If you are older than 45 and/or have difficulty seeing near objects I would not recommend this watch as you cannot see the numbers on the screen without your eye glasses or lenses -- even when the light is on. Also, there is no option given to enlarge the font.

3 out of 5 stars Going down hill   August 21, 2009
Henry Greenspan (Ann Arbor, MI United States)
I am on my third Reebok watch/HR monitor. The quality appears to be slipping. The one I have now still keeps accurate pulse, which is great. But the day/month function disappeared about a week ago, and there is no way to get it back. So, as long as you don't care _when_ your pulse is a particular number, this remains a good product. But, as a timepiece, there are cheaper and better options.

3 out of 5 stars sometimes yes, sometimes no   May 3, 2009
B. Black
The product seems to work, I have nothing else to compare my heartrate with but the problem I find is it takes too long to give you a reading. The manual says it should only take 10 seconds at the most but there are times I wait 30 seconds. It is not easy to hold down the buttons for that long while trying to maintain a good heart rate.

The Reebok Monitor Watch is easy to use durable during extreme fitness routines.
I like it a lot; I only wished it came on different colors.
