Amazon.com Product Description Featuring unique retro styling and a heavy-duty steel construction, the Schwinn Roadster is a great choice for your youngster's first trike. It has a low center of gravity thanks to a wider profile back, which offers added stability to prevent tipping. The swoopy steel frame has an easy step-through design so your tyke will be comfortable and ready to ride. The Roadster has a bucket seat with an opening on the back for easy carrying, and the seat can be adjusted underneath with twist knob (no tools needed) to five different positions. The handlebars have textured grips and raised ends that help keep the hands from slipping off, and the handlebars can be adjusted using a wrench. The pedals offer colored rubber accents that also provide extra gripping so shoes don't slide off. It also features air-filled tires--12 inches in front, 8 inches in the back--which provide a smoother ride over bumpy surfaces. For added style, this trike comes with a real wooden deck in back with a burned-in Schwinn logo, shiny silver fenders on the front and back tires, a bell on the handlebars (which can be removed), and tassels for added flair coming off the ends of the handlebars (also removable). About Schwinn Founded in 1895, Schwinn is an American icon that has been synonymous with quality and innovation. They have built some of the best-known and best loved bikes of numerous generations--Aerocycle, Paramount, Phantom, Varsity, Sting-Ray, Krate and Homegrown. Today, Schwinn continues to be a leader in the industry with innovative bikes such as the new Sting-Ray, Rocket mountain bikes, and Fastback road bikes. With a continued dedication to quality, forever synonymous with the Schwinn name, America's most famous bicycle brand looks forward to providing another century of innovation, freedom and performance to people of all ages.

Exceeded expectation! November 27, 2009 prayer (Millersburg, PA) I am reviewing this from the standpoint of the transaction as well as the product received only. (It is a Christmas gift for my two year old grandson so I can't go further for his response.)
I was astounded to find that when I ordered it one day, the next day it was at my front door--all with standard free shipping!
I couldn't be more pleased with the trike! It FAR excedes my expectation! Not only was it a snap to assemble, but in addition very well made. A great value!
grandson loves his new bike November 14, 2009 L. Davies (Oregon Coast) My grandson who will be two in one month loves his new bike. He is tall for his age so he can reach the peddles, but he is not able to actually ride it yet . He has not ouite figured out how to push the peddles correctly to ride. Any day now he will put it together and take off riding. Meanwhile he is having fun sitting on it , being pushed around ect. We are very happy with the quality and the look.
Trike does not last. November 11, 2009 Leslie (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this trike because of the "cool" factor. It did not stay nice looking for long. It's been 2 years with one year inside the house and one on the covered patio. It looks like it is an original rust bucket. I even waxed it to try to avoid this. I would not spend the money again.
great tricycle November 4, 2009 C. juliano (NJ) Couldn't find a tricycle in store that was sturdy. This a great bike for the price.Sturdy, rubber wheels, metal parts, riding bar for extra child. My 2 year old rode this with ease. Won't flip very stable.Simply a GREAT BIKE!!!
Cool Trike November 3, 2009 Elizabeth Brown Definitely a cool trike. Got it for my son's 2nd birthday and he initially had trouble reaching the pedals (and he's a tall guy - at the 90th percentile for height), but enjoyed pushing it with his feet on the ground. Now that he is three, I've observed that he does have an easier time pedaling other trikes - I'm not sure if it is the air tires or the "low rider" build of this trike, with the pedals more out in from of him rather than under his body. I like that it is low and hard to tump over. It has put up with some abuse and still looks great! Tires seem to slowly leak air requiring fillups every few weeks. There were also a few scratches on the wooden piece (when it was brand new) on the back that I probably could have called and gotten replaced, but never got around to that since it had no impact on function and I knew my little guy would eventually be playing hard on it!
