it is what it is March 19, 2009 J. H. Dunham (Georgia, USA) This water bottle is exactly what you pay for. It's not expensive, so it does not have anything flashy, but it is large, so it holds quite a bit of water/beverage and feels fairly heavy duty for a $3 bottle.
The classic bottle November 30, 2008 Ray C (Sonora, CA USA) Positives:
Great price.
Easy to squeeze and drink out of. On a longer ride I like to stop for a break and flip the top open, and since the top is attached, I can drink with one hand without losing the top.
Comes in many colors, although I like the clear so I can see how much water I have left.
Bounces off the pavement easily without getting dented like stainless steel.
Negatives:
Tastes like plastic on longer rides or hot weather. On investigation it does not appear that there are any health concerns with LDPE (no BPA, unlike the older polycarbonate bottles). It's just a little unpleasant. Fine for shorter rides in cooler weather. I fill my water bottles from a Kleen Kanteen container just before getting on the bike.
Personally, I'm changing over to Camelbak Podiums because of the taste factor, although I'm missing the attached top that I can just flip open.
Decent bottle... November 16, 2008 G. ASH (Duncan, OK USA) This bottle is adequate, especially for the cheap price. Don't expect it to last forever though. The top tends to crack within a year.
Exactly what I expected October 30, 2008 Eileen The water bottle arrived in a timely manner and was the exact color I wanted.

These are the notorious "baby plastic" water bottles that leach
toxins into your drink(Yum?).
I think these have been around since the 1970's because they
become frightfully "STICKY" to the touch in sunlight (Ahhh?)
Specific water bottle cages are made for these so you can
carry it on your bicycle (Thanks a lot?).
RECOMMEDATION-
Break out of the 70's & do your body a favor-buy a REAL water bottle-(Nalgene Polycarbonate), which doesn't leach chemicals into your drink, you'll be SOOO GLAD you did!!
