Amazon.com Product Description With remarkable two-in-one support, the Moving Comfort Maia Bra is made to fit and flatter larger-breasted women. With seam-free molded cups and an underwire to separate and support the breasts, the Maia offers an enhanced fit and a smooth, no-line look under shirts. To further reinforce and support the chest and increase comfort, internal spacer fabric extends from the cup to the strap of the bra. The back straps are adjustable for an optimum fit, and three plush-backed hook-and-eye rows on band offer further adjustable comfort. On a purely aesthetic level, the Maia reduces the "tube" effect created by so many sports bras on the market so you can look great and feel great. Designed for high-impact sports, the Maia features combined encapsulation and compression support. The encapsulation bra cup construction surrounds the breast to give support and shaping, protecting the breast tissue from horizontal, vertical, and circular motion during sports. Compression bra construction redistributes breast tissue to evenly press against the chest wall limiting overall motion. If you have been discouraged by sport bras that do not accommodate larger chest sizes or are unattractive to look at, then Maia is a great choice for you. Designed for comfort and beauty, this is a bra that recognizes the athleticism of all women. Specifications: - 2-in-1 support
- Seam-free molded cups
- Underwire
- Smooth, no-line look under shirts
- Internal spacer fabric reinforces support
- Adjustable back straps
- Three plush-backed hook-and-eye rows on band
Support Type: - Compression: Bra cup construction that redistributes breast tissue to evenly press against the chest wall to limit motion
- Encapsulation: Bra cup construction that surrounds the breast to give support and shaping. Based on various degrees of impact, this structure helps to protect the breast tissue from horizontal, vertical, and circular motion during sports activities.
Material Specifications: Body: 88 percent polyester, 12 percent spandex Interior Cups: 100 percent polyester spacer fabric Care Specifications: - Machine washable
- Fasten the hooks before tossing them in the machine
- Hang dry
Find Your Fit: - Band: Should be slightly more snug than a lingerie bra. Make sure you can comfortably take a deep breath with the bra fastened on the middle hook. Be sure the band doesn't ride up in the back. If it does, the band may be too loose and/or the straps need to be adjusted.
- Cups: Adjust your breasts for a proper fit. They should be completely held within the cups without overflowing. Fabric should be smooth. Wrinkles or puckers indicate the cup is too big. Underwire should sit on your ribcage below the breast tissue and follow your natural shape.
- Straps: Should offer minimal stretch to reduce up-and-down breast movement. Wider straps will disperse the weight and feel more comfortable. Straps should not dig in or slide off your shoulders. Adjustable straps offer a more custom fit.

Quality comes first: Moving Comfort understands the kind of support and freedom needed in clothing, and how that clothing should feel against the skin. The company knows what keeps women warm and dry when it's cold and cool and dry when it's hot. Knowledge, expertise and high standards shape the fit, fabric and function of every garment Moving Comfort designs. Fit affects everything: Keeping fit improves every aspect of a woman's life--reducing the incidence of heart disease, breast cancer, osteoporosis, depression, and drug and alcohol abuse. Best for bust support November 20, 2009 Joy M. (Brooklyn, NY) This is a great sports bra. My search for a truly supportive sports bra has been very long and unsuccessful until now. I ordered this in 38DD and the fit is nearly perfect. This bra features utilitarian, practical design and is clearly good quality. The adjustable straps are fantastic. In the past I've found well-constructed, underwire sports bras with fixed straps that completely undermine the fit and otherwise solid engineering. Because I'm just 5'1" the adjustable straps really make this a great fit and I feel secure--no soreness from bouncing, no added back pressure here!
If you're looking for a cute bra to show off under your gym gear, this isn't it. But I think it's much cuter to look like a comfortable, in-control athlete anyway.
Love It! November 17, 2009 CB with 3 (Aiea, Hawaii) This is a great sports bra for a large breasted woman. Many times an under wire bra is not comfortable for me, but I use this at my boot camp class and almost forget about 'them'. I have been using them for 4 months now and they still are holding up great!
Best sports bra for big busted women October 21, 2009 Debra B. Blackwell (Southern MS USA) I love this bra. I was wary when I ordered it but when I put it on, it fit me like a sports bra should fit. Perfect. I have noticed on other reviews that women say it does not fit their size, but I must tell you that your size may be wrong. I use to think I was a 36D, but the bras just never felt right. Finally, I realized that I was a 34DD and that made all the difference.
This Maia bra fits perfect!! No bounce, no overhangs, no constantly pulling on the undercarriage. It feels natural and I will probably wear it even when I am not working out. It is cut high enough that it can serve as a tank under a shirt. Here in the South, that is a major plus because of the heat and having to wear two shirts.
I just ordered another one in the Mist, which is a sky blue. I am excited that finally I found a sports bra that I like.
No Uniboob! October 17, 2009 FAB in LA (Los Angeles, CA) I bought the Maia and Fiona bra in May and now it's October. I just want to say that the Maia has been great! It washes well and still supports and separates my 36DD's while looking good (being able to obtain it in my favorite color blue was an added bonus).
I do aerobics at home for 35 to 45 minutes 3X a week and this is my favorite work out bra. I've had over the years a variety of bras which squished you into the uniboob shape(including the Fiona); and/or were any of the following: not supportive enough, hard to get into, or very uncomfortable - not this bra. I am buying more.
Walking On Sunshine October 12, 2009 Scooby Groupe (El Paso, TX USA) It's so nice to finally wear a bra that really fits. The way it is made, it can't help but fit. I love the sport style and the underwire. I intend to buy several more. There's no giggling or flopping. You are packed in nice and not tight, but firm. I recommend this bra to those who are big busted and tired of wasting money on bra's that just don't fit.
