Product Description
Young engineers are sure to have hours of fun with this authentic-looking dump truck. Giant wheels make even the most rugged sites accessible. Indoors or out, the Mighty Truck gets the job done. Crafted in theTonka trucks tradition, this dump truck is made with steel, rugged plastic and guaranteed for life.

Editorial Review
While many classic toys are now mass-produced using cheaper materials (primarily plastic), this Tonka truck's quality construction is preserved. Although the wheels and frame of this dump truck are made of plastic, it is of a heavy, durable weight and suitable for the muddy or wet territories that this truck is sure to encounter. The dump bed, however, is made of heavy-duty steel--just the way parents will remember this toy. This massive truck measures 18 inches long and is a hulking 11-1/4 inches tall with an enormous dump bed that can haul and dump overwhelming piles of dirt, cedar chips, or toys. A plastic handle on the front of the dump bed provides a sturdy grip for tilting the bed to drop a heavy load and ease the bed back to a horizontal position again. Rugged 6-1/2-inch tires enable this truck to scale (and potentially flatten) towering mountains of sand at the beach or rocky, mountainous terrain at the park. Tonka stand behind the durability of this toy by covering it with a full lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

5 out of 5 stars daughter loves it   November 27, 2009

My daughter is 4 and has loved this truck since she received it at her 1st birthday party. She finds tons of uses for it--her current favorite is pushing it up the grassy hill in our backyard and riding down in it. GREAT toy--and withstands tons of abuse.

My sister gave this truck to my son for Christmas when he was a year old and under the recommended age group. She said, "Promise me you'll let him play with is present, it's safe", so of course I was worried, not knowing what it was at the time. After he opened it (with help, natch), it became his favorite toy and still is. He's four and a half years old now, and this fantastic truck is still going. It's been everywhere with us - the park, the beach, camping, run over ramps and down hills, through grass, in the street...you name it. Barely a scratch. It is a big truck, but there really is very little a child could do to hurt themselves, no small parts either. My son has never hurt himself on it or pinched even one finger.

I would highly reccomend this truck to any Tonka lover or truck lover. It is the best, most durable, and fantastic gift a little boy could get.

5 out of 5 stars Best toy ever!   October 29, 2009

This is one of the best toys I have ever bought my son. It is very heavy duty for a rough and tumble two year old. We bought it for him when he was about 18 months old. For the first year we kept it inside and he'd haul his little cars or toys around in it. This past summer I let him take it outside and he'd load landscaping rocks/gravel and various other outdoor paraphernalia in it. We even threw it in the back of our pick up and took it camping with us. We camped next to a stream where he put muddy rocks and sticks and whatever else he could find in it. Brought it home, hosed it out in the driveway and it was good as new again. Best boy toy ever!

5 out of 5 stars 4 years and counting!   October 29, 2009

I have 2 six 1/2 year old boys that are usually a 2 man wrecking crew. They can't wreck this! They got one of these when they were 2, and it caused so many fights because it was "the best one", that i bought another. It is 4+ years later and most of their outside toys have been kicked to the curb, but these are still played with and still loved.

Someone else mentioned that these were great to get kids into helping with the yard work. It is true! Our dumptrucks have helped prune, weed, make a garden, make a patio and more!

You won't be sorry!

5 out of 5 stars Great truck-you can't go wrong purchasing this for boys OR girls.   October 25, 2009

I bought this truck for my little boy before he was even born! He got it for his first Christmas when he was just 2 weeks old. Naturally, his 2 yr old sister took over it and loves pushing it around, and he has started playing with it just recently. He loves to climb in and out of it and has started pushing it within the last couple of weeks. He had his 9 month picture made with it as well. When he turns 1 in December, we're having a dump truck theme party, complete with the cake in the bed of this truck (chocolate of course, to resemble dirt)! I will post pics if I can remember, ha ha!
