Comes with 35 darts, holds 40, has an intimidating look unmatched in the annals of foam bullet warfare. Bullets need to be in near-pristine condition, or gun will jam. What will get them out of pristine condition is rapid-fire mode, which really is the most joyous experience with this thing. Hold down trigger, slide the cocking mechanism back and forth, and you control firing speed and, to some extent, velocity.
Pew-pewing nerf bullets at 60 rounds per minute or better is just about the pinnacle of life. But this mode frequently jams and will damage some bullets even if a full jam doesn't happen. Jams are easy to fix, no big deal.
Don't drop the magazine, it's pretty fragile.

Okay I went and bought this from a local store, and I am glad that I did. This item didn't operate like other Nerf guns that I have in my arsenal. (Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick and Nerf Nightfinder) It was not accurate, and did not go the distance of my other two previously mentioned. Every now and then a dart would fly true and on point. I could hit my boss from across the office, (about 30 feet away) center mass in the chest. But mind you that was like 1-8 darts hitting on target. That was in single shot mode. Auto pump (finger on the trigger, and pumping away like a mad man, resulted in far less accuracy. I can say this. The gun did not jam in any way. Reloading is also something to consider. Better have a back up weapon, or a friend to cover you while you reload, as there are no options to buy and extra barrel for an all out me-lee! Speaking of barrel, its located on the left side. Not very good for a right handed person using it for single shot mode. Needless to say, this one was taken back to the store the very same day.
Other than that, the gun looks good. It assembles with ease and is customable with the ability to add other features sold by Nerf. This package, also gives you 100 rounds to lose and destroy.

It is a very fun blaster I enjoy running around and shooting little relatives.It has many advantages like rate of fire,range since it is a stock nerf gun that does not matter,and ammo capacity is the most ever.
So overall buy it but before spending 50 $ on it buy one localy.

I bought this for my 13 year old son at target yesterday and he says it is the best nerf gun ever. It never jams and hardly ever misfires. It is a little heavy on the left side considering the Drum Magazine. He said that he wanted to get a less heavy, lower capacity magazine that would be compatible with the gun and a nerf gun sight to make it weigh less and be more accurate. He can shoot it around 20 feet and He dropped the gun a few times and it still works fine. Overall, this is an exellent nerf gun for all ages and you will not be dissapointed. [...]

The raider cs-35 is the most incredible Nerf gun ever. It never jams (i tried to get it to), has incredible ammo capacity, awesome accuracy, is easy to hold and use, and is just plain awesome.
