For those who are connecting their calipers to a digital readout, like a Sumatech or Yadro, these are perfect. They use the original Chinese communications standard and all functions work correctly. These calipers still use crystal controlled electronics, unlike those I've inspected that use the newer communications standard.
I believe that is the reason I get poor comm performance out of them.
For those who are just using these as calipers, these are only average in construction. The main beam on one of my examples is slightly bowed, a common issue with the cheaper calipers. This does not appear to affect accuracy, but a perfectionist will likely be disappointed.

This digital caliper is an excellent tool for anyone that needs to make accurate measurements. It will measure width/legnth/depth in metric/SAE 1000" and the most benefit is English fractional display for those common fasteners and drill bits. This tool with its large LCD display has the ability to make conversions that you struggle with trying to convert to fractions. We in USA were supposed to go metric...hahahah...this tool will figure it out for you without effort. Its better than interpolating of a micrometer or the dial of a vernier caliper. Price is right!!!!

This is a pretty good caliper accurate to .0005". Can be used for pretty much any project you might be working on. Metric/Standard conversion is handy. Especially since so many things are metric nowadays.
