Can be used like a ratchet for continuous turning.View larger. | Slides over nuts tightened down on long bolts where a 2-inch-deep socket won't fit. | No More Guesswork, Lost or Missing Sockets Keeping track of individual sockets from a socket set can be a chore, as sockets often go missing or get dropped and misplaced. Likewise, socket sets can be tipped and scattered on garage floors, and they are usually unorganized, which makes it difficult to find the size you're looking for. Thankfully, the ReadyWrench puts an end to lost sockets and ensures you'll never need to search through a socket set again.Whether you're assembling a barbecue, fixing a bike, putting together furniture, or tinkering with your car, the ReadyWrench can help save you both time and stress. Thanks to its easy-to-use design, the ReadyWrench lets you transition easily from task to task without having to hunt around for sockets or additional tools. Sockets Just Took a New Turn The ReadyWrench features two rotating heads that easily adjust and click into place--just spin the heads to find the socket size you're looking for. For further convenience, the heads detent at 45 and 90 degrees, so the ReadyWrench can be used like a ratchet for continuous turning. With its short-pin design, the ReadyWrench replaces both one-and two-inch-deep sockets. It easily slides over nuts tightened down on long bolts where even a two-inch-deep or longer socket will not fit. One Incredible Wrench; 16 Most Popular Sizes The ReadyWrench, with its multiple socket options and short-pin design, is a versatile and flexible tool--and a great value over purchasing a socket set. The sockets are cast to fit both standard (SAE) and metric bolts, and they have a special six-point socket design that won't damage bolt heads. Best of all, the ReadyWrench offers 16 socket options--5/16 inch, 3/8 inch, 7/16 inch, 1/2 inch, 9/16 inch, 5/8 inch, 11/16 inch, 3/4 inch, 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 13mm, 14mm, 16mm, 17mm, and 19mm--all the standard and metric sizes you need to handle most any project. Additionally, there are color-coded laser markings on the side of each socket for easy reference (metric = blue; standard = red). User-Friendly Tool Designed to Last a Lifetime The ReadyWrench is so easy to use, you won't know how you ever lived without it. To start, socket sizes are etched and baked in color into each socket for easy visibility--not imprinted like standard sockets. For added convenience, a helpful size chart (in both inches and millimeters) on the back of the handle lets you know exactly what size you need for a specific job. Additionally, the ReadyWrench boasts a durable rubber grip that provides exceptional comfort for high-torque applications and extends the life of the tool. Built to last, the ReadyWrench is made of durable vanadium steel with a nickel chrome finish. The MSW100 ReadyWrench is backed by a lifetime warranty. Not all that its cracked up to be November 26, 2009 Ray Davis 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I saw this at Walmart and decided to check it out. Black and Decker's video claims that it can replace 1" and 2" sockets. That is true for half the sockets (only eight sockets total). If you have a larger socket on one side, the other side is of course, SMALLER. So, it will replace a 2" socket for the smaller socket, but may a 1" for the larger socket. How do they get 16 sockets? Each socket is both a metric and standard six sided socket. The decimal difference is somewhere around two to almost nineteen thousandths. It does have the most popular standard sockets, but as for metric, they left out the 15mm. I would have preferred they made one standard and one metric.

Innovative and Very Convenient Set of Wrenches November 25, 2009 Nuknuk (Springfield, VA United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A new and innovative tool from Black & Decker. This tool makes it very easy and convenient to find the right socket by just spinning the head. In snaps into two positions, either 45 or 90 degrees. Great applications for this is for your bikes, automobile wheels, furniture, etc. Made in China.
Pros:
+ Very convenient. You don't need to swap sockets as more than likely you already have the right socket you need in your hand.
+ Lifetime warranty
+ Sizes in both SAE (standard sizes that stands for the Society of Automotive Engineers) and metric are embossed on the black rubber grip.
+ Meets American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards.
+ Sizes, albeit difficult to read, are etched and color coded in each socket head.
+ Rubber grip
Cons:
- It does not have a ratchet, so unless you have enough room to swing your arms, your movement is limited in tight places.
- The head cannot be locked into position and may rotate as you are applying a torque. Handling, can be tricky.

I'm ready to ratchet with the B & D Wrench November 25, 2009 J. Offenbach (N VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
You can now call me Quick Draw because when in need of a quick and ready wrench, I'm all set. The tool has a hefty weight, nice cushioned handle for comfort, the swiveling heads on either end which each work on 4 sizes. Yes, it's labeled as 16, but it's actually 8 openings with each for a standard and metric size, so in my book that's not truly 16 exact fittings. Nevertheless, for quick and dirty uses which will not repeatedly be used on the same bolt, this is the tool I now will grab. I expect to make some friends very happy when I unload some of my cluttering sockets and open up some space in my tool boxes and carts. For a tool or gadget fan, the Black & Decker MSW100 Ready Wrench will be a handy addition. It's up there with my space saving favorites.
Great tool for the occasional quick need November 24, 2009 Michael (Fairfax County, Virginia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have all kinds of wrenches in my toolbox. This is a great all-in-one wrench for the occasional quick job. So many options on one tool make it easy to find the right socket....and they are all labeled too!!!
I like the quick nature of this tool. Sometimes I just need to get a nut off in a hurry and this is the way to go. And it gives me a lot of flexibility in how I can access that nut..... much more so than the regular wrench since I can swivel the head to get it where I want.
However, since each socket can handle a metric and SAE size nut it doesn't give you an exact fit. Which is okay for that occasional need, but not if you are tightening and loosening the same nut/bolt often. Then you would be better off with the right wrench. But for my needs, this is the wrench of choice for those quick jobs.
And the price isn't bad either.
Great Wrench! November 24, 2009 Kristen B (Los Lunas, NM USA) What a great concept this tool is! All the different parts that I have had to try to keep track of in the past are now a thing of the past- This wrench is easy to use, and I went around my barn tightening screws and assembled a table with ease- I love this tool, a great addition to my tool box!~
