I like its elegant design and the fact that I can weigh luggage and boxes for shipping. I read a lot of the reviews before I bought it and the most useful advice was to use your big toe to lift it and lightly drop it to activate it. Had I not known that I would not have been as satisfied as I am. The best feature of this scale is that no matter how many times you weigh yourself, the results are the same. With my previous ones I knew that if I tried long enough eventually it would give me the reading I wanted! I recommend this scale without hesitation.

I purchased this scale after another scale (Taylor brand) stopped working. I should have just purchased this one in the first place. It has a very large display with a back light and a very solid feel to it. Unlike other digital scales, it runs on standard AAA batteries, which are also included. The look and feel of the glass is very modern and classy and would go well with any home interior. As other reviewers have also stated, the scale performs very consistently. Overall, we give it four thumbs up by the two people who use it!

I had originally ordered another scale from another company, but was informed it was not available. Disappointed, I searched for similar scales and found the EatSmart. After reading several reviews, I ordered one, mindful of the problems people had getting it to turn on.
