3 out of 5 stars Decent product with a great price..   November 19, 2009

Construction seems like pretty cheap plastic and I doubt they will last very long. However, 10 lights for 30 dollars is a great deal considering what you'd pay for some of the more durable metal lights. They work fine, they don't put out much light but again, you get what you pay for.

9 out of 10 worked initially. After a week only 4 out of 10 operational. All that with Forida perfect November weather. It is being shipped back to the seller.

5 out of 5 stars About to buy 2 more sets   November 16, 2009
AGG (NJ)
Purchased the 10 pack set to light a path along our driveway. I have purchased 2 sets already and plan to purchase at least one more for my house and another for a project I am working on to put solar lights in a public park. The lights offer a nice glow and when we actually have sunny days (purchased during the beginning of fall and we haven't had much sun here in nj this fall), the lights stay on til sunrise. Even during cloudy days, most of the lights still seem to remain on until sunrise and the rest stay on at least until we go to bed (just depending on where they are placed).

For the price ($30 for 10) I think they are definitely worth it.

3 out of 5 stars you get what you pay for   November 14, 2009

I was searching for some good solar path lights but the selection in the local stores was pretty picked-over in September. These lights were being sold by Amazon at $30 for 10 lights--I wondered how good they could be since this was cheaper than the price of a rechargeable battery. I ordered them on speculation. They arrived promptly. I pre-charged the batteries and carefully inserted them in the ground along my garden path. That night I determined that 9 of the 10 worked pretty well; the tenth was dead (tried different known-good battery). They don't throw off much light but they do exactly what I wanted--highlight the border of my garden path. With the shorter days and lower sun angle, the lights that don't get much sun are barely illuminating but this doesn't surprise me. Overall, a decent value for what I wanted.

these lights offer great value for the price.
pros: easy to install, good appreance, love the blue light
cons: very low power - should be used for cosmetic jobs such as marking driveway boundary, fragile (be careful not to apply much pressure when assembling and installing)
