The cover is attractive, and seems to do an adequate job protecting the screen, however, I wished that I'd read the "cracked case" reviews. I've treated my Kindle very gently, yet after a few weeks with this cover, it is cracked.
The cover's hinges are a very durable, heavy, inflexible metal, which sounds like a good thing, except that they're much harder than the Kindle itself. It seems as though if the Kindle moves, the hinges don't, and what gives is the soft white plastic of the Kindle.

It is a quality cover both looks and feels good. The cover provides good protection to the Kindle. I like the design how you clip the Kindle on it. It would be better to have a little clip/snap sort of piece to keep the cover closed when not in use. But overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

this is a nice hard cover that protects the Kindle well. Inside it is padded with a fleecy surface that protects the screen. The cover flips open easily and folds back for ease in handling while reading. Because of the fleecy surface, I can place my Kindle on my crossed leg and it stays in place while I read hands free. There is no latch or zipper, etc. to keep it closed, but I have not found that to be a problem. I highly recommend this product.
