Red color is really perfect for my style. Great texture to touch. But it feels like the dirt sticks easily. Easy to wipe off with a damp cloth. Very expensive for a cover tho.

When I bought this product I was looking very forward to it's potential.
When it arrived, I installed it on my laptop, but found that taking it on and off can be difficult, if you are avoiding breaking the very small plastic holders.
Also, the satin feel will scrape off with a fingernail, and does not stay on the case well at all.
This does the job, and prevents my laptop from getting scratched; but it was not worth the $40 I paid for it, because it is already falling apart.

Got this for my MacBook Pro 15". Snaps nicely in place. Translucent (not transparent) but you can still see the apple logo glowing through the back. You can also see "sleep" LED glowing through the right front edge of the laptop. Case texture is like a semi-gloss as opposed to a high gloss and gets some traction when sitting on a flat surface like you desk so it won't go sliding away. So far, I've kept it clean by storing it in a laptop briefcase, but I can envision it getting difficult to remove marks over time because of the texture. Side openings for all peripherals (CD, USB, 1394, power cord) are all fine. Yellow is a nice snazzy color LOL.

Very good case! Has that perfect red/black sheen that people find so attractive. Snapped on very easily and gives no trouble with closing the computer or weighing down the lid like some other reviewers complained of. Just what I was looking for to guard my baby from scratches, and so chic, too!

This is really a great add on. It doesn't seem to add much weight and I like the snap-on fit. I also thinks the MacBook looks cool in black.
