Amazon.com Product Reviews
While it doesn't turn bedtime into a campout, the Tot in Mind Cozy Crib Tent II is a great way to keep toddlers and toys inside the tent and pests and pets outside. The domed canopy attaches snugly via Velcro to most standard and sleigh cribs. Setup is easy--almost like a tent--and once on it discourages toddlers from climbing, falling, and wandering. If you have a climbing toddler not yet ready for a toddler bed, the Crib Tent II bridges the gap and will have parents, and child, resting easier. Crib rails can be lowered and bumper pads can still be used. The soft full zipper allows quick access to the crib, and it is compact and lightweight for travelling. Manufacturer recommended age is birth to three years. --Scott Teal

GGGRRRRRRREEEEEEAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! November 24, 2009 J. Swann (Burnsville, NC) We have a 18 mo. old who is not ready for a bed this works GREAT keeping him in his crib.
great part of our home November 23, 2009 P. GRAY-MELE (Hoboken, NJ United States) We had it up since before she came home from the hospital and the cats lost interest in it so never bothered to go on it. My daughter's now 17 months and it's her cozy bed tent. She has toys hanging from the dome inside and it's got her teddies in it. we really like it.We got it to keep two HUGE cats off the crib but I was surprised to see that they haven't really bothered to go on it. It's not very strong but after 17 months it's just like new and no tears on the net.I read a review that the zipper was too loud and would wake the baby but my daughter knows the sound to be part of her sleeping rituals and doesn't disturb her as all.It also gave me peace of mind knowing she can't climb out and hurt herself.I would use it for my second child (probably the same one too!)
may not work with convertible crib November 19, 2009 nionlight (Austin, TX) We have a crib that converts to a toddler bed and then a twin bed. The sides of the crib that become the headboard and footboard for the twin is a solid piece and does not allow for the crib tent to wrap around the crib properly. Another problem we had was our crib was a little too tall for the tent. We didn't realize until we put the mattress inside the tent (there is netting at the bottom of the tent that the mattress sits on top of) that the top of the crib was too tall. We really like the idea of the product and decided to hold onto to it for our second baby. Hopefully we will be able to use it then. I give this product 3 stars because it didn't work with our 1st child's crib not because of the quality of the product.
Great Price for safety November 5, 2009 FARMGAL-TX (TX) Great for safety & keeping your little one from wandering. My lil guy is a climber
& so curious he gets into everything. We can sleep in peace knowing he isn't wandering the house at night.

Best Peace Of Mind Ever! November 4, 2009 Misty L. Chappelle Best purchase for my baby so far! I had heard that putting it on the crib can be challenging and knowing that i'm not mechanically inclined, i asked two friends to help and i watched and it looked pretty easy. We have cats and the first couple weeks one of our cats climbed on top of the tent and the tent was durable and didn't collapse. I had also heard that the zipper and material was flimsy and mine has been up since Nov 2008 and is still as durable as ever. However, for precaution sake, i have been easy on the zipper just in case.
My son wasn't standing at all and one morning i walked into the room and he was standing and the crib was to my sons hip, because of the infant height setting, that he could of easily pulled himself over the crib and could have had a terrible fall. However, the tent kept him in and I see the tent being a huge peace of mind when he gets older because he is strong-willed and likes to climb. I don't want to be one of those moms who worries if her 1 or 2 year old is walking around the house at night when everyone else is asleep.
BEST PURCHASE EVER. I'm going to keep it on until he is 2ish.
The only downside is that it takes effort to change the sheet because you have to bend into the tent and lift the mattress up and it's a challenge on the back. If you had someone there to help, it would be easier or i'm thinking of getting a sheet saver? I hear they attach better but i'm not sure.
Hope this helps you decide.
Misty
