The Snuzzler kept my newborn's head in place...no slumping to the side, flopping head, etc.
I orginally tried the Eddie Bauer version and was not happy with it ~ my newborn's head went flopping.
Would definitley recommend this to others.

I usually don't do online shopping, but when I saw this I had to have it. The car seat we purchased did not have any head support, so this was perfect. He was very snug in this and it made him feel more comfortable, especially since our son was a baby that liked to be swaddled very tightly at all times. I didn't worry about his head moving around too much. I loved it!

With my first child I went crazy looking for a way to keep her head up when she was a newborn. The pillows that come with the car seats do NOT work. I bought the double pillows, her head will still go forward once she fell asleep. I got the cute pillow that goes around the neck...worse!!! Then, I saw this when I was looking for stuff for my second child...LIFE SAVER!!!!!! It cradles their whole body and the NEVER went forward!!! I was only able to use it until the baby was 7 months old, after that he was too long and did not work properly. It worked fine until he reached 30 inches.
It is meant for infants and it works. By the time I was not able to use it he had more control of his head and setting the belt properly in the car seat keeps the head up. Just put a bib over the buckle to avoid marking the chin with the buckle.

I LOVE this product for my twin boys. We not only use it in their car seats, but at home, we also use different parts in their bouncers (headrest), a swing my SIL lent us (the whole thing), and our double strollers (the whole thing). It works for almost anything that your baby needs support in and my boys love the feel and comfort of the snuzzler. It's also easy to wash after all that use and for the price, it's one of the top three items we've purchased our babies!!!
