Our toddler has been using one of these since she was about 8 months old. She likes it because it gives her something to hold on to--and she loves snacks of course. We love these because they can be thrown in the baby bag and later pulled out when needed. They are also great in the car seat or stroller.
Pros:
- Easy for small hands to hold.
- Easy to disassemble and clean in dishwasher (two piece).
- Two come in a pack--you'll want both of them.
- Good for snacks that are not too crumby. Earth's Best Crunchin' Crackers are perfect and available by the case on here.
Cons:
- Kids will make a mess even with a snack catcher. Pulling stuff out is so much fun sometimes.
- We gave one away and now want another for backup so I'm back ordering these again.
Overall a great tool for your toddler management toolbox.

great product. definitely keeps snacks in place, that's not to say my toddler won't just pull a bunch of snacks out of the cup to see how many he can get and then leave them on the floor :) But the cups work really well

The handles are perfect size for toddlers to carry. The lid is snug enough not to be casually removed by a toddler, although that also makes it tough for an adult to secure with one hand. Minimizes accidental messes, and the kids learn about keeping things right side up. You can also throw a filled one in your bag and then have it ready for snack time while on the go. Washes in the dishwasher just fine. This is exactly what we'd hoped this product would be, so my family is happy.
The lid's teeth are RUBBERY & FLEXIBLE. Also BPA-free. Love it! September 18, 2009

The teeth of the lid easily fold on themselves. You don't have to worry about your child's hand getting caught in this. Since I wondered about this when I was purchasing, I just want to post that fact. The packaging also says the product is BPA free--good to know.
Very useful product!
