I just told my mother the other day that if Sophie cost $[...] it would still have been worth it! To be totally honest with you, when I received Sophie I thought she was a glorified dog toy! My son disagreed! He was about 4 1/2 months when I got this teether so it did take him a little while to figure out what to do with her but by 5 1/2-6 months he had Sophie's feet in his mouth chewing on her at all times. Sophie is his lovey!

I saw an article in the newspaper about this must have baby teether, so I ordered one. We've had it a month or so, I can't say he likes any more or less than other teethers but the squeaker has already died on us.

My 6 month old has adored this since we bought it about 6 weeks ago! He is in the car for 2 hours each day and, unless he is sleeping, he is always chewing on Sophie. My niece also loves her Sophie and that is why I didn't blink an eye at the price tag. No regrets!

Like many others, when I dropped $[...] on a French rubber squeak toy I thought to myself, "what a sucker I am". But Sophie was worth it. We take her everywhere, refer to her by name, and for some reason my daughter just loves Sophie. She chews on Sophie's ears, squishes Sophie's body against her face, and holds on to Sophie's neck. The toy is really well designed for kids.
I gave Sophie 4 stars though because when you wash her, water gets stuck inside and is difficult to get out. And when she's waterlogged, Sophie doesn't squeak very well. But other than that, this is a great, safe, well designed toy.

We received Sophie as a gift when our son was born. It took him a little bit to get used to her, but that occurs with any toy. Our son is now 10 months old, & he still loves to chew on Sophie. I highly recommend getting this toy as it is easy for small & large babies to use. Her neck is perfect to hold on to, and her ears, mouth, & legs are great to chew on.
