I'd bet even Wo Fat (the Chinese Super Agent for casual fans) would go ahead and enable the "Smart Picture" software function during his evil DVD copy operation - no effort, no additional expense, and would certainly steal customers who bought these. And I'd bet he wouldn't OMIT EPISODES or perform GENERAL EDITING as Paramount disclaimers on the boxes. It may save the cost of an extra disk and case per package, but I don't think Mr. Fat is that cheap. I'd bet also that he wouldn't sell DVDs, that apparently have simply been converted to DVD format with no noticeable quality improvements, at a premium to other DVD sets (~4 hundred "CLAAAAMS" for this set). I think he's smart enough to know that he'd get WAY more sales if he sold them on the level with the "lesser" shows that have been similarly neglected. Then again, maybe he WOULD save omitted & unedited episodes, and quality improvements for a Special Boxed Set released the year after these - to get people's money TWICE! ( . . but at least the better boxed set would cost MUCH less total) I think he'd mostly lose current and repeat customers who feel cheated and scammed though.
It's a tragic shame that Paramount hasn't given the attention and effort to restore and re-master this Spectacularly popular and History-making show that it and we fans who've waited so long deserve. One thing for sure, I'll never buy another set of DVDs from Paramount after these. I can't believe they didn't bother to remove the haze that appears in various scenes, such as in "A Bullet for McGarrett" among others throughout. I'm not talking about something minor; it's all over most of the screen and it's like your glasses suddenly fogged up. They could remove that with any photo processing software.
Maybe I'll do as one commentator suggested and just borrow the DVDs from the library (and save my "Claaams" for the inevitable Boxed Set when it comes out!).

The six discs in this seventh season Region 1 DVD boxset of Hawaii Five-O played fine. Nice menu screens as always, although they're still using an old version of the show's theme tune. Also worth noting that (not including the first season DVD set) this is the first Hawaii Five-O DVD boxset with episodic promos for all the episodes in the boxset.

Another great series of episodes from Hawaii's favorite crime show. Hard not to like the action and the scenes. Jack Lord and James MacArthur were a grand team- Danno deserved to be listed as a co-star.

Hawaii Five-O: The Seventh Season
Hawaii Five O the seventh Season is brilliant and I enjoyed watching the dvd. Jack Lord is still my favourite actor and I love to watch him solve the crimes.
I hope there will be more of Hawaii Five O. I look forward to next season whick is 8th.

The seventh season of Hawaii Five-O roars right back into action with Steve, Danno, Chin Ho, Ben and Duke.
The stories are generally pretty good, the production values excellent and the scenery beautiful.
I feel this season is actually better than Season 6.
Plus there's a Wo Fat episode!
I did have to exchange this set as several of the DVDs had problems with freezing/skipping.
