2 out of 5 stars Didn't get what I paid for   May 22, 2009

While I enjoyed the movies I could watch, I was really bummed to find that at least one disk didn't include the movie stated on the cover - half way through it suddenly morphed into something else. The movie it was supposed to be was provided on one of the other five disks, which means I really I got three out of the five movies that I paid for. Still contimplating whether to go through the pain of packaging it up and sending it back for a refund? It did cost me nearly $100NZ. Is it worth it?

3 out of 5 stars Great - except it was missing a movie....   May 21, 2009

The movies are great except that one of the movies is on two discs. Dangerous When Wet is on its own dvd as well as being on the dvd for "Easy to Wed."

5 out of 5 stars VOLUME 2 NOW!   April 22, 2009

The reviews cover the territory pretty well.
ESTHER WILLIAMS is a very bright woman, elegant and athletic, it's not all about water ballets. She was a good actress too. Try and see THE UNGUARDED MOMENT with a slimy EDWARD ANDREWS.
The photography is great, the costumes are gorgeous. Isn't anybody interested in fashion as social history and a thing of beauty?
To recap, the gay communities, feminists and all the movie buffs should be yelling for more releases. Come on, WARNER HOME VIDEO, yield to the voice of the people!

5 out of 5 stars The Wonderful Miss Williams   March 12, 2009

I can't believe I have developed a bizarre fascination for water ballet, Annette Kellerman and Esther Williams. These DVDs are wonderful light entertainment and some of the big scenes have to be seen to be believed. Highly recommended. But no Esther you are not the Million Dollar Mermaid - that was Annette Kellerman.
