Offering prints at up to 4800 x 1200 dpi color resolution, photos exhibit continuous tone and look like they are fresh from the photo lab. In addition to the PgR ink system, the printer has a print head capable of producing two-picoliter ink droplets for exacting detail. You don't have to wait long for your prints either--a 4 x 6-inch borderless print takes only about 43 seconds.

When printing business documents, the MX7600 churns out prints at up to 28 pages per minute (ppm) in mono, and 23 ppm in color. Because the printer has two paper feeders, less time needs to be spent loading or changing media. With a built-in duplexer, you don't have to waste your time standing by the printer flipping sheets when you want to print on both sides. And you don't have to wait for the machine to slowly start up either; the unit is ready for use in about five seconds after power up.

The printer is network-ready thanks to its built-in Ethernet connection. Just connect it to your home or office network, and your networked computers can share the printer. The printer also features a built-in memory card slot that allows you to print photos straight from a memory card without a computer. With the printer's LCD, you can look at the pictures you want printed, and with Auto Image Fix, picture quality is automatically optimized.

The scanner offers up to 4800 dpi resolution at a 48-bit color depth for scans that pick up even the most minute detail. And thanks to Canon's advanced copy technology, the MX7600 copies graphics and documents with faithful accuracy.

High-Speed Fax
The device can achieve Super G3 fax speeds (33.6 Kbps), which allows the fastest fax transfers, and it can fax both black-and-white and color pages. The device's built-in memory will store 100 coded speed dials and up to 250 incoming pages--features that are especially useful for long faxes or if you run out of paper.

The Canon MX7600 All-In-One Printer is compatible with Windows (including Vista) and Macintosh operating systems. The printer measures 19.7 x 21.1 x 10.1-inches (WxHxD) and weighs 36.6 pounds. It is backed by a 1-year warranty.
