I bought this switch to control an outside light. The remote works very well with better than expected distance even through walls. Easy to use, would work very well with Christmas lights ext.

Ordered this based on the reviews about the distance this can be used from and it is as advertised. I'm able to turn on a light in the house from the end of my driveway (about 50 ft) so now a light is on when I enter. And it even works when I'm not in direct line of sight to the controller - awesome!

I have 4 different types of remote switches. I use them to operate shopvacs in the garage piped into the house. This is by far the best. Mainly because there is only one button for on and off, that's a huge plus. Secondly because the transmitter is strong, durable, has a strong key chain connection, and has great range. I have 2 on different channels of this unit and I love them.

I am amazed how well this product works and how little it costs! I use it to run a ceiling lamp for which I can't reach the switch. Love it.

This product works great! I bought it for my fountain which is at the very back of the yard and is hard to get to. I used to have to go out and plug it in when i wanted to run it which was a real pain. Now that I have this I can turn it on and off from inside the house! I am using it at a distance of about 40 yards. You need to have it be in a line of site for it to work. The reason that I only gave it 4 stars is that the cord is very short on the unit. It would be nice if it was a few feet long.
