Excellent acoustic sensitivity.
The patented tunable diaphragm alternates between low and high frequencies without turning over the chest piece. This allows for same-site auscultation.
The chest piece is finger-contoured for an easy-grip, secure hold. It is protected with a hand-polished, scratch resistant finish.
The lightweight, adjustable-tension headset, and patented 3M Littmann snap tight soft-sealing eartips make the stethoscope even more comfortable to wear.
The thick single lumen tubing provides excellent portability, allowing you to fold the stethoscope easily into your pocket without kinking or breaking.
The new Master chestpiece makes it easier to auscultate under a patients gown.
It features a nonchill rim and diaphragm for patient's comfort.

Good stethoscope for the money. Solid construction and the smaller bell is good for taking blood pressures on little arms. Comfortable ear pieces and good acoustics. Plus it is orange...nuf said.

This Stethoscope was purchased for our daughter who teaches student nurses how to use them. She chose the one she
felt was best suited to her needs. This one is a pretty color, so we can only hope it won't be stolen like her black one was.

The key for me was a scope I could effectively use with recently acquired behind-the-ear hearing aid with microtube and dome, for severe high-frequency hearing loss, in my left ear only.
The soft ear pieces of a colleague's Littman Cardiology led me to decide on the purchase of this scope. The soft earpieces of the Classic II SE seal well and comfortably over the microtube, without removal of the hearing aid. Should my hearing deteriorate into the mid and lower frequencies in the future, an amplified scope may be required.
Auscultation quality is excellent.

This is a quality stethoscope and it sounds great, the ear pieces are very comfortable and this should last a long time. i have seen many people use this and this probably might be the most sold steth. I this case i do believe what you pay for.

I left my other stethoscope in my car out in the elements too many times over several years and had to eventually get a new one. My old stethoscope was a 3M Classic 11 S.E. and I loved it so much that I just got another one just like it. It's a great stethoscope.
