Cute November 28, 2009 Jessica Barton (Smithfield, PA USA) It's overall easy to use. Much more simple and cheaper than an Ipod. I run often and am rather athletic and even when I'm in mid run this mp3 player is easy to toggle through the options on.
It has stalled a couple times but that could very well just be the specific product I have and not necessarily apply to all the sansa fuzes.
Freezes, Won't play video clips November 27, 2009 Pete F 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
From the get-go, I was very impressed by the product, ease of use, quality portability etc. Then we started downloading and playing videos. Sometimes it worked & sometimes it didn't. It started freezing up on us. At points we couldn't even power the Fuze off to reset it. This was very frustrating. we are looking at returning this item... bummer.
Nice at First, Now Slowly Going Downhill November 23, 2009 Sophist 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had the Fuze for just over a year. At first it was a dream, exactly what I expected. Then, without warning, in the middle of a song it froze up. I haven't dropped it or abused it in any way. I keep it on my desk in my office. The only work around I have found is to let the battery discharge completely, recharge it, then it works fine for a period of time before locking up. Also, don't leave it on the charger for more than a day or you won't get any response other than the black screen of death. Pushing buttons randomly for a few minutes brings back a locked screen. Let the battery run out, recharge (for less than one day) and it works again. I was fooled by the great price and glowing reviews. Yeah the price is good, but don't expect much.
Leaves much to be desired.... November 22, 2009 Natalia 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love how this little thing feels and sounds -- that is, when it does play the songs I put on it. My biggest problem has been getting songs to play on the Fuze. More than half of my library of UNLOCKED mp3s don't play on this machine. Either it doesn't write the songs into the Fuze or it doesn't play them even when it shows that the memory space is being filled by those songs. I have not been able to figure out what songs are fine and which are not -- there seems to be NO logical reason why so many of my tracks that play in Rhapsody don't play on the machine.
Speaking of Rhapsody, I'm not so happy about having to use it to use the Fuze. It is not a bad music manager, it just crashes often on my Vista computer -- it doesn't seem to get "hibernate" very well. So adding to the problem of writing songs to the Fuze are the issues with Rhapsody.
Buy this if you think you will buy the Rhapsody membership and buy lots of songs through it.
Great for the money November 21, 2009 Derk (Chicago,IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Lots of features for a cheap price. The expansion card is a plus especially if you have things you don't listen to often or pictures. I'd recommend a case with a clip. Manafactuers used to include that stuff for free. Great unit.
