I'm tickled to death... December 1, 2009 David Cram (Northern California) I'm very well pleased with my Kindle. When I opened the box and plugged it in for its initial charge, I was curious, so I idly started browsing the Kindle Store. I found a book that I had wanted to read, and clicked it. Nothing happened, so I turned to the computer to check the mail, and there was the acknowledgement from Amazon! I went back to the Kindle, and--holy cow!--there was the book. No wires, no fuss, and it sucked it right out of the sky...Astounding! Since then I've been buying and reading, buying and reading. I like holding it, I like turning pages by clicking a thumb button. (I caught myself licking my finger in anticipation of turning a page. When I realized what I'd done I quickly dried my finger and looked around to see if anyone had noticed...) I'll probably never buy a hard copy of a book again.
Prices going up for many books from 9.99 to 13+ !!!!!! December 1, 2009 A. Kalhan (Shanghai, China) Have been using the Kindle for 6 months and buying lots of books. Suddenly notice that the prices are going up from 9.99 to 13 something. This was one of the main features that got me to buy the Kindle in the first place. The lower price of books. Consumer beware. You may be stuck having to buy books at prices similar to a regular book and not much choice since you've already invested a hefty sum buying the Kindle.
Love it!!! December 1, 2009 sophia henley i am a big reader, i read almost anything. i love my kindle it goes every where with me. the 5 way broke after about 2 months i called the warrenty company after 4 pm they shipped out another one, i recieved it the next day. cusomer service was great no delays or accusations just a replacement sent out, no problems.
The Best Thing Ever! December 1, 2009 Andrea Harper (USA) The Kindle is the best purchase i've made in a long time! I LOVE it!! It's very user friendly and very simple to use! It's so lightweight I carry around in my purse wherever I go. I've been able to read much more now that I can take hundreds of books with me wherever I am. I bought my kindle before I flew over seas to Australia and it was a life saver on the plane! I finished three books just on the way there! I never would of brought that many books with me if I would of had to pack the actual books around with me. If you love to read, this is the thing for you!
Reseña para México December 1, 2009 J. Martinez Rios (México, DF) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
