Product Description Print lab-quality photos and laser-quality documents with reliable Photosmart D7560, which produces beautiful color using five individual HP Vivera inks. It features a big 3.5" touchscreen for easy navigation plus photo viewing, editing, and organizing.nd can output them economically without sacrificing the quality of the original image. The most frequent uses of the HP PhotoSmart photo printer include photo enlargement, cropping, red-eye elimination, scratch removal, replication of snapshots, and the creation of greeting cards and other novelties. These uses require the support of a wide variety of media sizes. These media sizes include a wide variety of media types, like photo weight papers (photographic glossy or photographic matte), special project papers, transparency, and a calendar kit. A new "straight-through" paper path facilitates media types that are too thick for traditional curved paths.

A great photo printer for the money November 24, 2009 Pierre LaFarge (Illinois) This is the 4th HP printer I have owned and it is about the best in quality. I purchased it mainly for the picture printing and ability to directly label
CD and DVD's. For what I wanted, it is just right. The unit seems to go through alot of mechanical functions when first turned on and the startup is long.
The quality of the print jobs is superior. I am somewhat disappointed with the ink consumption, but I get around it by using my other HP for the more routine print jobs. The cost of replacement ink is pretty high compared with other HP units. This printer is loaded with features. Direct printing from memory cards is pretty neat. All in all, I am very happy with this unit and would recommend it for photo and labeling jobs. Use a cheaper printer if you are doing batch printing or just black and white letters and handouts.
Sorry I ordered them. November 23, 2009 George Reichman 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered 2 HP D7560 Photosmart printers. I have a D7460 that I love, so I expected these to be at least as good, if not better. Boy, was I disappointed! The first one wouldn't finish the setup process and made horrible screeching noices when the printer was printing either documents or photos. The 2nd one didn't want to finish the setup process either, but I finally got it to finish by turning the power off and on a couple of times. By the way, HP Customer Service says don't plug this printer into a power strip because it won't get enough power--plug it directly into the wall only! Sounds strange to me as my D7460 has always run perfectly through a power strip. The setup instructions do not make it clear about plugging it only into the wall. Anyway, the 2nd D7560 made a loud clunking noise as it printed out each piece of paper. It made me cringe because it sounded like the paper was going to jam every time even though it didn't. I never could get either printer to work satisfactorily, so I sent both of them back. I found another D7460 and ordered that. I haven't gotten it yet, but hopefully it will work as well as my other D7460. This is my first bad experience with HP printers and I've had quite a few of them. Hopefully I just got a couple of bad ones.
Very Satisfied! November 23, 2009 Lorraine S. Richards (Sun Lakes, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The only thing I do not like are the ink cartridges. I loved the HP2 series which my previous photosmart printer used. (I believe it was the predesessor to this model.) I don't think this machine gets as much ink from these cartridges. And the samples which were included with this photsmart printer (D7560) were used up almost before I turned around.
HP Photosmart D7560 is a sound value November 22, 2009 C. Necker (Phoenix, AZ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Replaced an HP 5440 series printer which worked very well except the feed of greeting card stock and photo stock would slip and result loss of portions of images. So far, I have not seen that problem with this printer.
I'm please with the D7560.
Installation problem under Windows 7 November 21, 2009 T Hull (Chicago) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The printer is great. It does what it's supposed to do at an affordable price. However, the supplied support CD would not install under Windows 7. The solution was simply to ignore the CD, connect the printer, and allow the Windows plug-and-play facility to install an appropriate driver. That may be a blessing in disguise as it obviates installing any extraneous software. I believe there is a Windows 7 compatible support package on the HP web site.
