Yeah, as mentioned, it's a duck liver diluted a googol googol googol googol times and sprinkled over a sugar pellet. Might be good for sweetening coffee if you can tolerate lactose.

Before buying this, please do some research on how it is made. The package says the active ingredient is at a 200CK dillution. This translates to 1 part per 100 to the 200th power. According to all known laws of chemistry, there is absolutely no molecule of the active ingredient in the product. Homeopathic doctors themselves would agree that this product doesn't contain a single molecule of the active ingredient of duck liver. According to homeopathic theory, the active ingredient works by passing on a mysterious vibrational energy to the water and this energy gets passed on to the milk sugar that the pill is made of. So, in the end, you are ingesting a milk sugar pill that supposedly contains the vibrational energy of a duck liver.

I was sick this morning, with chills, diarrhea, and vomiting. I grabbed my oscillococcinum, and took a bottle then laid down. I woke up a few hours later, and felt fine. No symptoms at all. Now my three year old is complaining of being cold, so I gave him a little bit, he fell asleep, and hopefully when he wakes up he will feel as good as I do.
I learned about the remedy from a CD course by the famous homeopath Dana Ullman. In the course he explains that the heart and liver of a duck has every known strain of the flu, this may be one of the reasons chicken soup is so helpful when you have a cold. As a result, given in homeopathic doses, it stimulates the body to fight off the flu. This is a remedy that I always have on hand.

Oscillococcinum, or however you say it has help me through many a cold season. At the first sign of a cold, I take it. Haven't had one in years. believe it or not! Wouldn't live without it in my cupboard.
