Product Description Carlson Cod Liver Oil comes from the livers of fresh cod fish found in the North Atlantic waters near Norway. It's an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA.

This stuff helped my cholesterol November 15, 2009 Armand J. Minnie (Marana, AZ) I started taking this to reduce my cholesterol at the suggestion of a friend. I quit eating as many eggs for breakfast as I used to (2-3 days per week) and switched to steel-cut oatmeal and I started taking this cod liver oil. My cholesterol went down from 253 to 208 and has stayed down for over a year.
A great deal! November 1, 2009 EverKang (Arlington, TX) This is a product I've used for many months now, but not at such a great price! I save about 40% off of what I would pay in the store locally.
not bad tasting October 21, 2009 Diane (Dover, de) Very fast delivery and packaged well. Trying to improve my immune system with winter coming on and working with children..
Good ol' cod liver oil October 11, 2009 J. Martinez (Bronx, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Okay, I can't comment on taste because I actually used to bite the gel caps as a kid so I could actually taste the stuff. So needless to say, I like the taste. The lemon makes it more passable for you normal folk, but the oil will still leave a bit of a fishy taste in your mouth; I recommend you drink this before you brush your teeth in the morning.
The bottle is made of glass, so it's easy to clean when you inevitably drip some oil onto it. You might occasionally want to wash the cap so you don't get fish oil on your fingers, which will give them a faint smell for a while even after washing your hands. Don't take too much, as vitamin D can be toxic in excess.
The Best You Can Buy October 7, 2009 M. Lynch My naturopath started me on Carlson's years ago...he insists it is the best brand on the market. He urges all his patients to take this every day and recommends over flaxseed oil (which is extremely expensive). He said it was good for everything and to take in liquid form rather than pills. Carlson's actually tastes great - you have to try it to believe it.
This company shipped quickly and packaged expertly. I highly recommend and will use them again.
