Surprisingly Pleasant Taste November 23, 2009 Lauren I don't generally write reviews but I thought this fish oil deserved a comment at the very least. I have tried a few different fish oils in liquid form before this one and could never stomach the taste so I stuck with the Kirkland brand fish oil softgels for years. After seeing the ratings on this stuff I decided to take the plunge and try once again because the liquid is so much more concentrated than what a pill can deliver. The taste isn't bad at all alone, just tastes like lemon oil -- no fish taste at all, and I put it on my cereal (honey nut chex) and the taste was similar to lemon cake on top of the sweet cereal. I'm hooked. For anyone who dreads the thought of fish oil, if you're anything like me, it will change the way you look at it forever.
Best tasting fish oil November 15, 2009 William Diercks (Long Island, NY USA) I thought all fish oils were smelly and distasteful. I tried my friends Carlson fish oil and immediately switched to it. The difference in taste and smell is fantastic. This is a no brainer product, it is excellent.
Excellent masking of oil flavor November 10, 2009 Lenny B (Minneapolis, MN) Taking fish oil in liquid form leads to better absorption.
However, fish oil has an unpleasant fishy taste.
The lemon flavoring in Carlsons masks the oil flavor very well.
Is this in a glass bottle? November 10, 2009 Question (Earth) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Is this product in a glass bottle? From the picture, it looks like a plastic bottle. Thanks.
Great Stuff November 8, 2009 WT (Atlanta, GA) Good tasting and good for you. Add 1 tablespoon of the Carlson's Lemon Flavor Fish Oil and 2 tablespoons of honey to a cup of hot green tea ...... good stuff!
