4 out of 5 stars Good Scale: Poor Directions   September 22, 2009
Clinch X (West Michigan, USA)
The scale is exactly what we were looking for to track our baby's progress. Unfortunately when the box came my wife was rather confused because there were NO directions in English. Just some fuzzy pictures with a bunch of Asian writing. There were also several extra parts (we have been using it for almost two months and have had no need for them, even after assembling it in each of the configurations listed below.) Overall it seems to be a good value for the money and I am happy with it.

Also it is very versatile. It converts to a Toddler scale, food scale and shipping scale for packages. It is also accurate, we tested it against our doctor's scale and it was exactly the same.

This scale was exactly what I needed to weigh my 11 newborn puppies through the time they turn 8 weeks old and going to their new homes. The basket holds them perfectly. I highly recommend this item.

It appears to function as designed.

4 out of 5 stars Great to have when worried about Failure to Thrive   June 9, 2009

Because of health issues my 6 month old son is on a feeding tube and until recently was diagnosed Failure to Thrive. His weight is a big concern and it's great to have this scale to keep on eye on how he is doing day-to-day. The weights seem to be pretty accurate and the 'hold' feature is great for such a squirmy baby. It's great to be able to have pound, ounce, kilogram and gram measurements since the doctors normally want his weight in kilograms and we have a daily goal for his weight in grams. The only other thing I wished that it had is a memory feature to remember his last weight. And also the tray for the baby seems smaller than a lot of other trays.. He still fits in it now, but I really don't think I could put a toddler in it even though the scale goes to 55lbs.
Overall it's a great scale to have, especially if you have weight concerns (great for breatfeeding moms who want to know just how much their baby is getting!!)

4 out of 5 stars Great scale, great price   May 21, 2009

We bought this to weigh puppies, and it is easy to use. I especially like the "freeze" function that picks up the weight even if the weigh-ee is squirming around like crazy! The easy change from grams to pounds and kgs. is also great, and when we're done with it we plan to use it as a postage scale. SAFETY NOTE: It is important to screw the platform into the scale though; the little plastic pegs ARE NOT adequate on their own.

A great purchase!
