A valuable product for diabetics October 16, 2009 Charles J. Schlotter (Florida) Recommended by Dr. Richard K. Bernstein in "Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution." (Little Brown) In combination with evening primrose oil, it has helped keep my blood sugar level at a safe level. Check the Bernstein book for details. My order arrived promptly and scheduled reorders provide the most economical price I can find.
Insulow-helpful? I don't know October 14, 2009 D. Tharp (cincinnati) My bloodsugars are totally out of control even with oral medication. I've tried every other diabetes medication with bad side effects. I tried this based on other reviews and I can't say that it has had any effect good or bad. I haven't used it regularly so maybe if I used it at every meal it might have more effect. The only positive is that I've had no side effects with Insulow. My physician scoffed when I told him that I had been using Insulow. He told me that only prescription medications would have any effect on my blood sugars.
Really helped with 'burning' sensation in my feet August 12, 2009 J. W. Dyson (Jackson, MI) I have been taking this for about 4 weeks now, and I've noticed that the burning sensations I was getting on the bottom of my feet (especially the right) has almost disappeared. It no longer feels overwhelming at times, and I seem to have better feeling in my big toe as well.
It helped some with my blood sugars, but the largest benefit for me has been in the neuropathy calming down.
Does it or doesn't it? July 9, 2009 Sally Sews (Philly) I purchased Insulow after reading about it in Dr. Richard Berstein's book "Diabetes Solution". The product is a bit pricey but it does seem to work for me. I do not have seriously high blood sugars so the response is not huge but I do find my sugar is lower when I take the capsules as directed. When I forget to take them, I see the difference. As with all medications and particularly those for diabetes, we repond differently according to how our bodies work. I will most likely continue to use this product with my doctor's approval. Please be sure to discuss any medication with your health care provider.
Works on my diabetic cat......!!! May 20, 2009 M. Garcia I choose not to go at my cat with needles and insulin and this alternative has worked for one year. Success and no needles
