Same thing as in the big stores November 13, 2009 Victoria A. Hing This filter is an important part of keeping my electric broom up to snuff. It needs to be replaced often and the price at the big name stores was out of sight. At this price I can replace it as often as needed, before I was cleaning the filter so as not to pay the high price. Thank you Amazon!
Dust Cup for Electrolux September 9, 2009 G. Patrick Liked the dust cup...it helped my vacuum cleaner work excellent. Thought the thing was broke, but it wasn't after all...just needed a new filter. The product was good and the service was good.
Electolux 62396-2 Dust Cup Vacuum Filter August 31, 2009 Scarlet O'Hara "Lisa" (Yakima WA) Very prompt delivery! Hope they never run out of these dust cups because they're the best filters for this vacuum!
Works Perfectly! August 29, 2009 J. Triplett Works nicely, even though it's not an "offical" Eureka part. We have a slightly older model of the Eureka Optima (red from 2005) and this part works and fits perfectly. Delivered quickly and the vacuum itself works much better with the new filter. Hooray!
Could be better designed! August 20, 2009 Kathleen Wolf (Colorado Springs, CO) I love the vacuum! However, I don't like the added expense of purchasing new filters every month. Instead, I brush all the dust out weekly and wash it in hot water, then let it thoroughly air dry. Seems to do the trick and the dog hair and dust are cleaned up as well as when it was new. I like the comment by one reviewer of using canned air to clean it. I will try that idea next week.
