Love this trimmer!!! It does a very good job of vacuuming up the trimmings. It catches almost all of them. The battery on this trimmer is outstanding! It also has a turbo option, but is already powerful enough on its standard setting to do the job. Would make a great gift for any guy.... or hairy girl.

The device works pretty good. I use it to just keep my beard under control.
The vacuum wasn't as good as I expected, since it still misses a few hairs.
The carrying case is pretty useful

Good power and cut. Made for longer hair though, not for beards you want a closer cut with. Had to buy another electric for a closer trim.

The Norelco Turbo Trimmer is great. My only problem is that when I try to trim my stash straight along my lip a little piece of plastic associated with the vacuum mechanism gets in the way. Otherwise it does a great job.

I have been using a generic Wahl trimmer for the past two and a half years, and have always complained about it because it would always leave my beard completely uneven around the jawline and by my sideburns. I decided it was finally time to just go for it and get a new one, and based on the reviews of this trimmer I decided to try it out. I just used it last night, and I'm completely happy with it. It's the first time I had a completely even shave--including my jawline and the vacuum works better than I expected. Of course it did not catch all of the hair; however, I would say it got about 90% of it which really eased the clean up. The nine settings lock into place which is nice (and was an improvement over my previous trimmer, which would slip into lower settings now and again), and it is possible to take the comb off and do detailed trims with the detail blade included. The only criticism that I have is that the blade doesn't work too well to do extreme details because of the bulkiness of the unit, but for me the rest of the package more than compensates for this. I definitely recommend this trimmer.
