I bought 6 of these Priva Ultra Waterproof Sheet protectors. I call them bed pads. My adult son is a quadriplegic and bedbound. He's incontinent. I don't use diapers, but I do use the paper pads over these types of pads too for double protection. The pads are large which I really love. They weren't as thick as I expected them to be but so far they do the job and one pad covers a large area of his hospital bed.(34x36) I will probably buy more in the near future but I'm wondering if they have ones with a different thickness? I don't remember given the option when purchasing. I recommend these pads to anyone that needs to use them for sheet/bed protection. I won't be able to tell how their endurance is until a few months down the line - as I wash them every day. J Kelley

I'm a 49 year old who just became night-time incontinent last year, just about
every night. It was such a sad surprise and have to wear diapers every single
night now after becoming unemployed (expensive). BUT :-D Even though these are
a bit of an investment, they work SUPERBLY when the diaper just doesn't do it.
I don't have to change sheets every day. I did buy 4 of these and it's worth it
to have extras.
These are also great for night sweats (which started last year - OH JOY!). So when
it's just a night sweat, I replace the Privo and air out and spray-freshen the other
one as long as it smells okay.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. TRULY COULD NOT DO WITHOUT. My problem has become very
chronic and nightly.

The minute I opened the package I was bowled over by the strong chemical smell. I opened it up thinking it would air out some, but it did not, so I returned them. (I'd bought 2.) Didn't want to take the chance of washing/drying them in case the smell didn't go away, then I wouldn't be able to return them, so I don't know if the smell goes away in time after washing, but considering how strong it was I doubt it.

Priva's products have stood the test of time in this household. The bed pads that are 8-10 years old look as good (and have worn as well) as the ones I bought about a year ago and I do rotate them, using 3 to 5 each day. The colored pads for the cushioned chairs likewise are attractive and fit unobtrusively in my chairs. Enough said!!

These work great. It's the right size for a not very active sleeper, Sturdy enough that they can be used to reposition the patient. Made in Canada, too. Almost as good as Made in the USA. Has been washed numerous times and still looks new. Highly recommend if you need this type of item.
