Product Description
The Reebok® Fit Watch 10S heart monitor is a strapless heart rate monitor with high and low target zone alarms to help keep you in your personalized target zone for safe yet beneficial workouts. Simply touch the sensors and your heart rate will appear. The monitor also displays the time of day and offers a daily alarm and night vision for easy reading of the large LCD display in low light situations.

Amazon.com Product Description
Specifically made for women, with its lightweight and slender design, this all-in-one heart rate monitor and sports watch by Reebok uses a patented method called "pulse technology" to measure the electrical pulses sent out by your heart each time it beats. Of course, the amazing part is that it works by finger touch rather than the cumbersome chest strap used by most other heart monitors. Within four seconds of touching the sensors on the watch, you can get not only an accurate heart rate reading, but also the number of calories burned during your workout.

The monitor has a programmable heart rate zone with audible and visual alarms to alert you when you get out of zone, plus a settable alarm if you have a maximum rate you should not exceed. Made from durable plastic and fully water-resistant, the device also features regular watch functions, plus a 100-hour stopwatch and countdown timer. It comes with a complete walking and exercise guide and one-year warranty.

About Reebok
Reebok's United Kingdom-based ancestor company was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So, in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes. In 1958, two of the founder's grandsons started a companion company that came to be known as Reebok, named for an African gazelle.

4 out of 5 stars Great watch for the money!   November 25, 2009
jenbee1 (New Mexico)
After reading several of the reviews, I was on the fence about buying this watch. I've used mine 3 or 4 times now (during spin class, running and on the elliptical machine so far) and I really like it! It's really cute & comfortable, has a lot of neat features (like the calorie counter) and so far the heart rate readings have been pretty accurate. I haven't had any trouble reaching my wrist like some people mentioned and haven't really had to stop or slow down what I'm doing to take a reading. I'm sure the chest strap models are more accurate and convenient as far as giving you a continuous reading, but if you're no Olympic athlete-in-training and just want something to give you a general idea of how hard you're working, this is a great watch!

5 out of 5 stars great product!   November 23, 2009
Louise O. Blyton (Australia)
I received this item very quickly (in six days, shipped to Australia!) and have found it easy to set up and use as both watch and heart rate monitor. The manual is clear and concise; the heart rate function is easy to access and gives an accurate result when compared with a simple pulse count.

I've bought this for health reasons so will be wearing it all the time. The monitor is about twice as thick as a normal cheap digital watch, but it is quite attractive/comfortable and I think it will pass as a watch when I wear it around other people. I have not tested it running, but it's easy to use while walking.

I, for one, found it awkward to use two fingers to make the connection as suggested in the manual and use my thumb and index finger instead.

4 out of 5 stars Does the job, but a little bulky   November 20, 2009

I just got this watch today. The heart rate monitor is definitely accurate. I tested it compared to timing my pulse with a stopwatch. While you do need to hold down the two buttons to take your heart rate, it only takes a few seconds, so it's not a big deal. It would be nice if it continuously monitored your heart rate, but I would still take this over having to wear a chest strap. One thing I wasn't thrilled with was how bulky the watch is. I was under the impression that it was a small watch that looks more like a normal digital watch, but it's a lot bigger than I thought (see the photos I posted). I do have a very small wrist, so it might not look so big on everyone though. So bottom line...it seems to serve the purpose and it's relatively inexpensive for a heart rate monitor, but if you're expecting this watch to look like a regular digital watch, you should know that it is on the bulky side. That being said, I think that's the case for all heart rate monitor watches -- at least all of the ones I read reviews for before buying this one.

5 out of 5 stars Small and usefull   November 3, 2009

This watch is good for those who don't need a continuos measurment of the heart rate. It's a nice watch and a nice heart rate monitor. I liked it because it is small, different from other heart rates monitors, that use to be very large, specially for women arms.
It arrived before the predicted time very well packaged, working fine.
I recomend it.
