3 out of 5 stars Above Average Noodles   November 21, 2009
Eric Chen
I've always loved ramen noodles, Nong Shim being one of my favorites.

The lobster ramen is above average but not phenomenal. Although very tasty, the original is better.

Try the spicy lobster for a change from your regular ramen, you'll like it but not enough to eat it all the time.

My favorite is still sapporo ramen

3 out of 5 stars Not bad...   November 19, 2009

This was the first Nong Shim Bowl Noodle product that I've had and based on the reviews for their other products, I was a bit disappointed. While there is no argument that this is better than cup of noodle, it isn't worth paying 6 times as much. Also the ridiculously high sodium content will deter me from buying this again.

5 out of 5 stars Good Soup for a Quick Meal   November 19, 2009
Javier Miranda (Georgia, USA)
For those unfamiliar with Nong Shim Bowl Noodle Soups, they are a very good alternative to smaller, more common cup noodles, such as those offered by Maruchan. These soups often have a powerful flavor, which may be overpowering (especially the Hot and Spicy and Gourmet Hot and Spicy) for those with sensitive taste. That being said, I have tried all the flavors of this soup and have yet to find a flavor I didn't like. My favorite flavors are the kimchi and hot and spicy flavors because they simply taste exquisite. They are also larger than the common cup ramen and, as such, are more apt for a very light meal than a snack. I highly recommend these to those seeking a new kind of instant ramen experience.

5 out of 5 stars Good soup!   November 12, 2009

Very nice soup for the price, good enough on its own or add some small pieces of meat for a more filling meal.

Well, I have purchased several Nong Shim Bowl Noodles, this would have to be the spiciest soup I have had! Too spicy to enjoy from how I see it.
