Product Description For those with sensitive gums or a very small mouth, we have designed the Low-Profile SleepRight. This night guard is identical to the Standard SleepRight, except it does not have the wings that come up over the upper side gum. This makes the Low-Profile SleepRight, a more streamlined version of the Standard SleepRight. The Low-Profile SleepRight is recommended for someone who has sensitive gums or a small mouth. It can also be ideal for daytime use. The Low-Profile SleepRight is not recommended for children under the age of 12 years or for use over 12 hours in any 24 hour period. Coupon : Coupon Code Offer : FREE shipping (domestic only) on any Sleep Right Dental Night Guard product over $59.98; use coupon code: 'NightGuard' . If you choose another method besides Ground, you will be charged the additional fee. International customers must pay entire shipping cost. Must use our Checkout (shopping cart) system. Stays in my freaking mouth October 4, 2009 Claire E. Kultgen (Frederick) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Holy moly. A night guard that is still in my mouth when I wake up! I've tried three others, mainly the ones you mold, and I always spit them out. But this one stays in my mouth! And...I don't feel like a football player.

I've been using this night guard for several years. I buy at least two at a time. The "mint" is ridiculous and lasts for one night but don't let this silly feature affect your decision.
I've been grinding for many years and I've worn a number of night guards, both hard and soft. This is the most comfortable and unobtrusive. I have never "rejected" it (spit it out) during the night as I have other guards. You know you're in trouble when you wake up without your guard, and find it under the bed!
It is soft and comfortable, the low profile is much more comfortable than the regular Splintek. I'm a woman, normal arch. I'd say that the regular Splintek is more suited to a man or a pretty big woman.
I agree with a previous reviewer that the pads could be replaceable, but at these prices I'm not sure it's necessary.
Before I began using this guard I suffered several chipped teeth during the nights. I had problems with TMJ and headaches in the morning. If you grind ("brux") it's so important to get a comfortable guard. If you can't stop the grinding, at least minimize the damage.
I'm comfortable at night, the Splintek handles the grinding, it's available without consulting a dentist, and the price is right. (Used to be about $60.)
Highest recommendation!!
Why spend $500? February 18, 2009 M. Giganti (Parma, Ohio United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Works better than the $500 one I bought from the dentist. This one helps me NOT to clench my teeth. Would recommend it. Buying a second one for back up. The low profile is perfect for my small mouth. Comfortable. Have not had any trouble with it falling out. Maybe because I only clench my teeth, not grind. Anyway, I think it is a good investment.
decent mouth guard September 1, 2008 Javier Blanco (Irvine, CA USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is the first mouth guard I have ever owned. I selected the low profile instead of the regular one thinking it would be less bulky in mouth and therefore more comfortable. I was wrong. I tried the regular one after and it fit me more confortable. The only difference I noticed between the regular and low profile is that the regular one has higher walls on the side to keep the guard from caving into your mouth. Only consider buying the low profile if you have a very small mouth.
good price good product November 22, 2007 Miki G (owings mills, md United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think this is a fair price for this item and i have been pleased with it. it is comfortable and very helpful for tmj. it wears out a little quicker than most but it is worth it for the added comfort of daily wear.
