5 out of 5 stars Great for Cap   November 12, 2009

I have recently tried "Lavazza Tierra! Espresso 100% Arabica " which is great but a little too mild for me. I make cappuccino, not espresso, and the SuperCrema is better for this. It does have more caffeine then the pure Arabica Tierra and is more robust, more body and much more crema. Actually, on the few occasions that I do have espresso I would lean to the Tierra as it is lighter. I use a Pasquini Livia Auto. My vote is SuperCrema for Cap and Tierra for espresso (Tierra if you just want less caffine and a lighter full flavor). So, get both. Here at Amazon the price is great.

1 out of 5 stars Usually good flavor, but thhis time it had terrible taste.   October 25, 2009

This is not the first time I order Lavazza Supercrema, and usually I liked it for my everyday espresso.

However this time item was out of stock for a long time and I canceled subscription but forgot to cancel that particular order that was lingering until the product became available. Anyway, I ordered Grand Tiera as I couldn't wait for Supercrema and I got my initial bag of Supercrema unexpectedly but it was still OK as I had guests and beans were going like crazy until I got a big surprise when I brewed the first cup with these beans.

I thought it must be something wrong with my machine or the water filter, so I tried to brew the other Grand Tiera beans that were almost over and the espresso was OK. Now I don't know how to return this full bag of Supercrema that is completely useless as Amazon policy doesn't allow returns on these items.

4 out of 5 stars Love it!   October 11, 2009

Great price and tasting coffee. Not as burned as all the Starbucks choices, and easily enjoyable. Using it in a DeLonghi espresso machine.

5 out of 5 stars The best! Ruined me for other coffees.   September 28, 2009

Great smooth flavor, terriffic crema. The best, and the price at Amazon was slightly lower than what I had been paying at an online coffee site.

This is a great bean for a semi-automatic machine. We have a Jura-Capresso and adjust it to a fine grind with this bean. The beans produce an espresso with a thick crema and a smooth, almost chocolaty ending. This brand can be found at coffee shops all over Italy and Europe in general.
